3/24/18 around 8:05pm I stopped inside the store to return a pair of shoes I purchased a week earlier. When I approached the register with my return, the cashier, Dashay, snatched the box open looked at the shoes then asked me to wait because she has to get a manager, Shanae, to approve a return on shoes. I simply stated there’s nothing wrong with the shoes they’ve never been worn why do I have to wait for a manager. I guess she didn’t like I questioned her because things went down hill from there. Dashay then gave me attitude began huffing and puffing then put her finger up saying “ if you just wait a minute I’ll get the manager”. At this point I didn’t appreciate the attitude nor tone because all I wanted to do was return my item and leave. I simply asked her why all the attitude she doesn’t have to get nasty with me. At this point Shanae, the manager on duty at the time, was at the register standing there just looking which I couldn’t believe especially after witnessing how nasty her employee had became with me. I asked Shanae, for a corporate number and Dashay’s name to report her when Dashay snatched a piece of paper and rudely told me she’ll write down her name and she doesn’t care who I tell. I stood there in disbelief because 1. I just stopped to return my shoes 2. I’ve never been spoken to or treated like that by a store employee while their manager stood there said NOTHING 3. It was clear she didn’t care about her job based off her behavior. At this point , Shanae told Dashay to go to the back to cool down and I told Shanae it was bad for business to have someone working the register who treats customers that way. Dashay then proceeded to come around the register like she was going to attack me when the manager grabbed her by the arms and told her to go to the back and calm down. Dashay pushed the manager to the side trying to get around her to what I feel as she was really going to attack me. Again I couldn’t believe this was happening. I simply said if she touches me I’ll call the police press charges for assault. It was at that moment Dashay just stood there staring into space like she was in a daze. The manager , Shanae, processed by return and I left the store. I’ve NEVER EVER experienced anything like this all because I wanted to return a pair of shoes and because a employee was having a bad day. Eventually when I was in my car I called into the store to speak with the store manager which she seemed very nonchalant about everything which I also couldn’t believe. Her reasoning for her employees behavior was “ customers have been mean to the cashiers all day and that it was out of character for her to lash out that way. I explained to her I’m not responsible for other people’s behavior nor did I appreciate the treatment I received just because she felt like lashing out. I asked for the district managers name and number so I can call direct to let them know what type of hostile, confrontational employee they have working there. I didn’t feel like I was in Charlotte Russe based on her behavior it felt like I was in the streets!! NEVER AGAIN will I visit this location nor patronize Charlotte...

During my visit, I encountered the store manager, Felicia, whose unprofessional behavior was quite concerning. Instead of receiving assistance and support, I felt dismissed and disrespected.
As a loyal customer, I expect to be treated with courtesy and respect, and I believe that all customers deserve the same. The conduct I experienced is not reflective of the values that Charlotte Russe stands for.
