I am extremely dissatisfied and disappointed in this store and their employee's. I placed a preorder on a Hidan Funko Pop back December 18th. I have called this store and spoken to its staff 4 or 5 times now, twice to an employee named "Josh" to confirm that my preorder was coming which the most recent time was last week to confirm the release date for the pop being today March 17th. I did not receive any phone calls today and decided to come in and check for myself since I was nearby. "Luna" the team lead said she didn't know there were any preorders but confirmed that this exact store received 4 chase variants. She was absolutely positive! None of which were sold yet. She said Josh had just placed them on the floor 20 minutes ago and she wasn't sure where so I pointed to Josh and said why not ask him which she did and he said he couldn't remember exactly where he placed the funko pops at 20 minutes before me walking in. After searching there were none of the pops he said he just placed. Luna and Josh hypothesized "some young kids just came in earlier and probably stole them". I'm standing by the register with both store employees and I ask them to look at the pop wall to see if anything looked weird. I pointed out if the so called young kids just stole 4 or 5 funcko pops then shouldn't there be empty spaces on the wall which there wasn't a single pop missing. I am disappointed in this store in its several failures in its pop pre-ordering system and its employees failing at living up to the stores ethical and moral policies. I am not going to point any finger or make any claims but we all know what happened. I am waiting to see if corporate receives my complaint and resolves this with the exact funko pop I preorederd and not the basic one but with 1 of those 4 chase variants that went missing right before I arrived. It is not about the 12 dollars I spent in order to receive one of those chases but the fact that invested time over the past 3.5 months to ensure...
Read moreHad the absolute pleasure of stopping into this GameStop while on vacation. The store was incredibly well merchandised taking advantage of all store front space and then some. All items were wonderfully merchandised and the sections were just great. The store appears to be a trading card conversion/test store from the amount of product they have. I told both ladies here today that as a former employee of almost 10 years worked, this was one of the best mall stores I’ve seen merchandised from the sheer volume of product in the store to square footage given. Absolutely fantastic.
On top of it, service was top notch. Both were very nice and pleasant and even recommended me somewhere to go instead of the aquarium during our stay. I don’t know if Corp Office still reads these but if the two ladies who were working today in the Lynnhaven Mall see this, thank you for the most pleasantly refreshing GS experience I’ve had in a very long time. Read moreI called ahead of time regarding a price adjustment and spoke to who seemed to be the manager. He seemed nice on the phone. When I arrived at the store, a young lady who didn’t seem too friendly handled the overall transaction with his assistance. When it was completed I heard the manager say that “...that was a headache” . I thought that was rather unprofessional regardless of the circumstances surrounding the transaction...it is part of the job.
