BUYERS BEWARE!! BUYERS BEWARE!! This company lies and does DECEPTIVE PRACTICES! Went in to look at beds, the salesman talked us in to getting a bed and promised quick and easy, no hassle financing. Instead, he tricked us into a lease with TEMPOE. They are not a finance financing. Instead company and are leasing company. This is absolute HI way robbery! We were told our initial payment was $268.89 then the following month we would pay the same amount followed by three more payments making a total of five payments. We asked the salesman if this was a lease, that we did not want a lease, he assured us it was not, and was indeed a purchase. After we made our five payments and thought we were done, the following month they withdrew another payment to our bank account. I called TEMPOE, and was told this was a lease and we had to have bought the item out either 30, 60, or 90 days, otherwise we were still on a lease that was to last another 12 months. So far we have paid the price of the bed, plus hundreds more, and our only option is to pay $800 more by March 1st. If we do not we will have to continue paying $268.89 every month. So what it comes down to is the first five payments are interest only, which you then have to pay full price of item plus several hundred extra dollars. So, we will now have paid double the original price, and if we continue lease will have paid $4,840.02 for a bed costing $1300. If after the five payments we no longer want to pay, we have to return the item. We never would have agreed to these terms, I don’t know why anyone would want to pay anyone $1,444.45 just to have to pay over the retail price to pay in a lump sum to own. Might as well just save that money for five months and pay in full, rather than get ripped off. at least $1500.00. DO NOT GET FOOLED LIKE WE DID!! We then went to the store and the manager was unsympathetic and refused to do anything to rectify this situation. You are better off going anywhere...
Read moreI'm glad we went through the inconvenience of not having our bed delivered on time because I would have never found out I was in a lease until months later I'm sure. 90 day same as cash should not involve a LEASE. Who leases a mattress? That's reason number one why I gave you a 1 review. Secondly, one of the main reasons we purchased from you is because we were promised our bed that evening. We came home, moved our old bed out front because it was going to be hauled off and I get a call at 6:10 PM that our bed was not going to be delivered. So what did my 2 month old baby and I have to do? Sleep on the couch. I'm sorry you had an employee issue, that's not my problem. I'm sure you have other employees that could have delivered it to make sure your customer was taken care of. Third, when I wanted to cancel my order because I was upset I was told I couldn't because I'm involved in a lease. So what did I have to do to get myself out of a lease? Pull out 2,000+ dollars so you guys would cancel it. I hope people don't make the same mistake we did. Oh, and the pad we got was horrible! It was not a soft material at all and you could feel it through the sheets! Not something someone would want to sleep on. I hope everyone reads reviews on you because we made the mistake of not. Everything that you have stated in response to my review is false and not only is it false, You also insulted my Father. We all know that your delivery man did not come in to my parents home and set up the furniture. And how dare you say that my Father cursed your delivery man. My Father simply told your delivery man that he was 10 days to late and did not want the furniture. Without a phone call or explanation and we had to to go elsewhere to do business because the items were not delivered when promised with no effort to contact us. Furthermore, no apology whatsoever from you when we made many attempts to contact you by phone, email and 3 different visits to your store which was never open. And please don't say that you did because we all know that you did not. You sir, do not practice good business and I do not understand how you are able to keep your business going. And another thing that hurts your character is that when anyone leaves a review that doesn't praise you, you feel the need to respond back by being very argumentive and trying to make the person look bad.
