For a place that people seem to rave about in this area, we weren't impressed. I'm questioning other reviews saying the food is amazing. In our experience, it was definitely average. The service was good. Our waitress was super nice. The venue itself is small and they do try to fit a lot of people in there. It is odd walking in...there is a huge gray tarp blocking the dining room from the front door. A little odd. We had the pork nachos and the bruschetta by suggestion. The nachos were 3/10. They had maybe 2oz of pulled pork. All we could taste was the smokey bbq sauce that was on there and it drown out anything else (if anything else was flavorful). The jalapeños almost tasted like bell peppers. No heat or spice to them at all. Chips were over fried. Husband said I've made better nachos at home. The bruschetta was a 6/10. The bagette wasn't toasted. I am not sure if this was on accident or actually the way they serve it, but it really made the dish not enjoyable. The honey goat cheese was pretty good! It was on both the top and the bottom of the bread. I did like the arugula in place of basil, that was a nice change. Also, the multicolored tomatoes were fresh. 2 apps and 2 beers was $50. That was a little steep, in my opinion. But, you know, inflation is affecting us all. We likely won't go back. We weren't impressed. We visited this wonderful place with our birthday girl friend earlier today. Our immediate reaction was good in that the architecture, design, and layout was very impressive. The front of the building looks great and the outdoor rooftop dining (we didn't do this today), was nice.

Mama, our server, made our experience great. She treated our birthday girl well and even led the happy birthday singing as the entire restaurant crowd joined in. Mama got creative with our drinks when I said, "surprise me with a beer". She created some mix samples that were very good. The other server was very friendly and nice too as she also posed for our photos.

This was one of my favorite dining experiences. Yes, the cheese curds are some of the best in MN. Yes, the chicken wings are awesome. Yes, this is a place that has the perfect balance of everything.

I came here with my friends before the homecoming dance and when we walked into the restaurant the atmosphere felt kinda dull. We had made a reservation before hand at 6:30 and the people at our table took a little longer than we thought so that was a little annoying. The biggest problem was the food. I ordered a Cesar salad and it felt to much like I couldn't stand the sauce they put on. My friend ordered the adult Mac and cheese and it was awful. The Mac and cheese has to much sauce and it was heavily salted. It feels like they didn't even try with the Mac and cheese it was terrible I would not recommend at all. three of my friends ordered mama's meatloaf and it tasted dry and it did not look appealing at all, not to mention the wait was so long for such crappy food.I would not recommend coming here for any occasion unless you want crappy food.
