Frozen Five Ice Creamery — Restaurant in Waconia

We ventured down tonight after being enticed by the colorful photos, hilarious write ups, and endearing story. Frozen 5 didn’t disappoint!

It was a family affair behind the counter, and we could not have been greeted with more genuine friendliness.

Each of our family members tried a different flavor and we all had to trade licks because they were all so delicious.

Bubble Yumm: all the nostalgic bubble gum flavor without any of the synthetic bubble gum taste. 4 year old approved!

Cinnamon Snickerdoodle: a classic flavor, perfectly delivered on.

Lavender Honey: not likely a kid favorite but a refreshing and unique treat, perfect for a hot summer night

Salted Sweet Corn: this one is a sleeper in my opinion. An easy one to overlook in a long list of great flavors, but the incredible taste of salt and sweet corn folded into ice cream was unexpectedly amazing.

Long story short, you can’t go wrong and we can’t wait to come back and try ALL the flavors!

We had a great time trying out all of the flavors that Frozen Five had to offer. We ordered a flight, but my wife loved the lemon blueberry too much to share!

The quality of the ice cream is top-notch, a nice change of pace from some of the other ice cream shops in the area that simply distribute a mass production ice cream. You can tell the ice cream has a lot of attention placed into each batch.

Our favorites were the lemon blueberry and their chocolate ice cream base, which has the most creamy texture. It seems they have new flavors often, so we are excited to stop in again soon to see...

Last night was my first time at Frozen 5 with my daughter. It was amazing to say the least! The staff was great and the flavors just leave you wanting more. Well I did just that and returned with my wife today to try two more flavors. So far it is a four way tie!!! Lavender Honey, Blueberry Basil, Spicy Chocolate, and Carmel Sweetcorn…. Yes, Carmel Sweetcorn!!! This is not the junk you find at other ice cream shops in town. These are true artisan flavors that any ice cream loving foodie would walk on their hands and knees to try!!
