Macy's — Local services in Waldorf

Updated Review: 10/24/18 Macy's called me on 10/19 and said they are shipping me my item and I would get an email with tracking info.(I assume this was because I made a complaint on their website) Fast forward to today, 10/24, and I get a package from Macy's. I open the package and it's not even an item in a manufacturer's packaging, it's just in a plastic bag with a Reticket Tag on it. I open the bag and find out they sent me a bedskirt made by Hotel Collection. I ordered a flat sheet by Martha Stewart. The kicker to this is that the store is saying I picked my item up this past Sunday. They told me it was signed for with a last name of Kahn. At this point I just want to laugh...how can they let someone with a different name than the customer who ordered the item pick up the order? I called Macy's and got the run around. Then they said they couldn't find my order. I give up. I'm just going to dispute the charge with my credit card company. This is ridiculous.

Original Review: This Macy's is as subpar as Waldorf is and I wouldn't have expected any different. Everything around this area sucks. I placed an order online and shipped it to the store. I went to the store on Monday to pick up my item from the home department only to be told she could not find it and that I needed to come back later. I came back Wednesday and found out my order is over in the polo department. Went to the polo department and spent forever waiting on the woman to bring me my item but she never showed back up. I went over to another section to get some help and the lady there told me that the lady who was helping me came over to her to get a key and I told her okay, that's fine but I've still been waiting a long time now. She told me I need to go back to the Polo section and talk to the lady who was helping me. I told her she's not there. I gave up and left. I'll get my item somewhere else that's more deserving...

I feel like if I had ever had to have a job while in college I would have worked at Macy's...but not just any section of Macy's, only the "Home" section. Lol. This is probably the only part of the store that's never as hectic as the apparel, jewelry, or shoe areas. It's always so calm and serene. (Minus sale days!!!) Hahaha!

But don't get me wrong. My husband and I both love shopping at Macy's, both in-store and online. He likes the Polo section (shirts, sweaters, socks, boxers--he has a Polo addiction if you cared to know) and I love their career wear apparel, although I always have to shop juniors. I don't think I'll ever make it to the petite women section sizes. Bummer. I feel like a teenager, but the good part is that I can still make what they offer work for me for a professional environment at my job.

I also like that associates are more times than not walking around on the floor, at least looking like they want to help or straightening the clothing racks, cleaning, etc,. And as usual there are just certain days and times of the year (Holidays, Black Friday, Mega Sales) that you just don't visit or if you do you better come prepared with a battle plan and a first-aid kit because you're going to war. Old ladies have pushed me down before over some church shoes on sale....honey I don't want those kind of problems.

This Macy's definitely has some great selections and I know it's hard to manage, but they strive to keep this store organized and orderly. The managers I've interacted with also seem very professional and...

I went to see price of online item "Lost On travel threw area" yes it was my bottle of Chanel No 5! Sale person was as I find .all the cosmetic and fragrance people so friendly and helpful! So size i I wanted was ordered and I was told I could use my $10 reward! Also purchased my new years dress and will return same dress ordered online as color was not what I had hoped. So got the exact same dress just a different color! What can I say about shoe department staff and even people pushing racks and doing stock Beyond Nice and Helpful!One young women Even wet n as far as to print list of store that carry same full length dress when I asked her for that , I saw online full length!! Retail is hard but the shoe, cosmetic and ladies evening wear rock! I was also impressed while passing threw jewelry I was greeted with a "hello!". In past have used register next to cosmetics and they are top notch also ! They have such a really good Team and to me go beyond the standard Macy's in Tyson's.I am the third generation of my family and now my neice is the fourth generation to shop in Macy's!
