Blain's Farm & Fleet - Standale, Michigan — Local services in Walker

I will never shop at Blaine's again. I loved several of their bulk candy items but they have been out of stock locally for a while. So I went to the website ordered up a few items was only paying half attention and submitted my order. I got a notice that due to the extreme amount of orders there would be a delay processing my order. I also immediately got an email saying they received my order. I looked at the prices on the email and it said 30 dollars and I could have sworn it said 20 dollars at check out. So I double checked the order and the shipping for my 17$ order was 13$. So I started looking for a way to cancel as it hadn't even been processed yet. And Blaine's won't let you cancel a submitted order. I will never use this retailer again. Buying some of these items in store saved me a small amount compared to their competition but the 13$ shipping just wiped out everything I...

Very disappointed!! I got a rain check on a rototiller over 6 months ago "last spring" and still have not recieved the item. I have made 5 months of payments on a blaines credit card. Blaines had zero communication on this issue other then me calling and asking when it will be recieved. After 3 months they finally were getting one shipped from another location. When it was recieved they turned around and sold it to someone else! Today I had to drive 2 hours to physically go to the store to get my money back. Now the money is back on the card and I have to get my payments back from the credit card company. Not so much as a sorry for inconvenience or anything. Sadly I was excited Michigan was getting Blaines after frequenting them in Iowa, I know I would have been treated much better out there...

I'm not really impressed, I've been raising chickens for 30+ years and have a degree in Poultry Science. I mentioned that their chicks were cold and I was told they just arrived and would warm up. It was clear that the heat sources were set to high but they couldn't be bothered to fix them. Second, I contacted customer service about an item I needed I was told "we don't ship to our stores or between them" I was then advised that there were 3 of the items in stock at in Standale store. This was not correct as I have seen the same thing on the website for 2 months and have been in several times with the item being out of stock.
