UPDATE May 19, 2023 Pain everyday until i get my knee replacement in January 2024. The mayor aka Keith suggested the new Ascis Kayano shoe and right now very little knee pain. I can't say enough about the knowledge and professionalism and such a caring attitude towards all their customers. Once again Keith thanks so much for all you have done for all of our family. YOU'RE THE BEST. Feeling so much better walking again tonight. Pain free ride home. I'm just amazed

Went to miles ahead today for new shoes for my wife Debbie. I have been going there since they had the little shop by foodtown. A good friend doctor indhal told me about the place and he was right. Keith, Gunner and another man who I forgot his name, and the ladies at the register are just really knowledgeable and do their job because they care so much about running and their customers. It's their desire to be the best they can be. I can't say enough about the friendly, caring attitude that all have.
I know I've gone there for at least 35-40 years and have NEVER been unsatisfied with the service and my shoes. Recently I've had some health issues and Keith relaced my shoes a totally different way. The results were 1-1/4 no pain, no swelling. The prices are great and if u look online you will see minimal price difference. I've checked out many running stores over the years but no one treats you so good and there is no time limit when you come in the store. When you leave, TOTAL SATISFACTION. I've witnessed one man who couldn't make up his mind. Didn't matter and he stated, I've never been treated so well.
Thanks everyone for great service

Read moreIn the past I didn't feel comfortable shopping here, but went because I know people that know the owner and wanted to "frequent friends, friends" businesses and show support. I only chose this place this time because it has a bigger selection than other central Jersey "running" stores and I wanted to make sure the folks I got gift certificates for would have a big selection to choose from. The sales clerks were snooty and made me and my husband feel unwelcome in the store. Jeez! When you are dropping down $200 for gift certificates (in other words, basically giving them money in advance to collect interest on) you would expect a, "Thank you for stopping in," or at least a, "Happy holidays! Come again!" Nothing of the sort! I hope they treat my giftees with a better attitude or I will be shopping somewhere else, no matter the size of the selection. Kindness and appreciation matters in where I...
Read moreAfter years of buying my lifting / training sneakers at places like Sports Authority and rarely being fully satisfied with my purchase, I decided to try Miles Ahead after a recommendation from a good friend. I walked in and was greeted by Gunnar. After some conversation about what I wanted / needed in a sneaker, he handed me his selection. I tried them on and was sold - didn't need to look at any other sneakers, which is very rare for me. I wore them for the first time during my workout the next day and loved them. Great advice - definitely worth coming here regardless of your footwear needs / preferred...
