Brennan's Smoke Shop Wareham — Local services in Wareham

Brennans overall has pretty high prices. They always have. But aside from that, my real issue with this chain is the employees they seem to hire. They're very, very rude. My most recent encounter was at this particular location. I came in and cracked a joke to no response, made some small talk, and still got a condensending stare as if I was wasting the employees' time. But okay, fine, maybe I am too uptight. Then I buy my vape and pay, and I'm on my way out. The employee then says "Well would you like to try it to make sure it works?" And I said: "Yes, actually, thank you." and made some more small talk. Still got silence. I opened the vape, took a couple of puffs, and waited; I took another one. "You good," the employee says in a certain tone as if, once again, I'm just wasting his time; when in all reality, HE was the one who suggested it! I may be wrong, but the general feeling of this whole experience was negative for me, and I certainly Did Not feel welcome from when I walked in the door until I walked out. To be fair, I'm just giving my honest opinion of this store and THIS particular employee, but I must say that this is NOT the only time I've had this type of experience at a Brennans Smoke Shop. At least 2 other locations and two other employees have given me this attitude/unwelcome feeling from the minute I open the door. You may interpret my explanation in this review as just a stuck-up customer complaining, but I promise if you were there, you'd feel the same way. Sometimes, as I believe we all know, certain manurisms, facial expressions, and tones of voice can alter an interaction and reveal a lot about the person you're interacting with. All this to say this was just my experience, but I stick by my appraisal of it. Always make your own decisions based on your own experiences; this was mine. High prices are fine, paying for quality, even more justifiable, but these negative experiences have now brought me to the decision that, even in desperate need, I will never shop at a Brennans...

She was very very rude All I wanted was to see the difference between two rolling machines. She handed me the cheaper of the two and said after I asked may \I look at them please. Keep in mind they were only in easy open boxes not wrapped in plastic or anything she say's to me "If you want to look at them you need to buy them " Granted I intended on purchasing one I just wanted to see the quality and feel what one felt more durable . Thats hard to do from a picture. Each machine was only $9.99. So its not like I couldn't manage the finances. She hands me one .What I thought was the cheapest of the two. It was very clear this woman did not want to be there as it was she didn't show up till almost 9:20 am I thought they opened at 9 am must be 9:30 because after she went in it was another 10 minutes before she let us in . Either way I got what I went to buy & If there were more options on stores to get what I wanted I surely would not have purchased it from this woman I'm not saying the store is bad just the woman that waited on me she looked to be about 45 dirty blond hair and angry.

My g/f & I have since gone back and have had nothing but good experiences, granted she wasn't there so.... just a heads up... One bad employee can...

All your smoking need in one place. Good prices. The older guy is on the quiet side, but the woman is always friendly and upbeat and treats everyone like you're their best customer. Not a fan of Plymouth store which is closer to me, so i always travel the extra distance to Wareham where i know I'll walk out of the store with a smile...
