Highly disappointed. Treated my entire group with complete disrespect and aggression. We had 4 adults and 6 kids in our group. We take our kids to a lot of rock climbing places throughout the country as we travel a lot for wrestling, dance and for leisure. We were so excited to finally try out a more local place with friends but that ended as soon as we stepped through the door. My 10 year old son & 12 year old daughter are great at rock climbing and really enjoy it. They take it very seriously (as does the others in our group). We understand there are rules, but to be on top of every single move anyone makes is absolutely over the top, especially when you are treated with such disrespect for no reason. You breathe wrong and he is running to you very aggressively. There is a nice and professional way of speaking to your customers, which apparently the main gentleman working the front desk needs to learn. I’ve never been treated in such a way. We did nothing wrong but show up to climb. We will not be going back...
Read moreI’ve been climbing inside and outside for a few years, and have been to climbing gyms throughout the Cleveland/Buffalo/Pittsburgh area. I’m accustomed to gyms being pretty nice, with solid routes and good atmospheres.
Goat Fort is the only gym I’ve been to where every route feels special. The variety of wall features is incredible compared to most gyms, and the owner knows how to utilize these features to maximum effect.
The owner actively monitors safety in the climbing area, especially when children are climbing. He goes out of his way to make each person feel like they belong there, and you can tell he enjoys doing so. I have somehow made friends on each visit without even trying.
Very reasonably priced and well worth the drive! I would have no second thoughts about getting an annual pass if I lived within...
Read moreDrove 45 minutes to the gym completely stoked to visit a climbing gym in Warren, PA of all places. As soon as I walk in the person working the desk seems upset with the group in front of me, I go to purchase a day pass and am instructed that before anything I have to watch a video. Completely normal right? I begin watching the video and peak my head in to see what’s going on inside. My foot must’ve touched the mat on the ground, he gets up and approached me yelling at me to get off the mat. Extremely aggressive and unlike anything I’ve experienced in any climbing gym across the country. I never leave negative reviews, but I had to walk out that moment. I was seriously taken aback by the...
