L&D Race Tech — Local services in Warrenton

Recently I had a surprising and satisfying experience at L & D Race Tech. A few years ago, I purchased a power washer from these folks. One of the selling points was that the pump was superior to other brands. After minimal usage, the pump failed. There were some delays initially in addressing my problem (mostly due to Covid) but ultimately I couldn't have asked for a better resolution. After spending hours on the phone with all parties involved, Don (the owner) decided to spare me the suspense and REPLACED my washer! At the time, he hadn't been able to resolve the issue to the point of being reimbursed, still he placed my need ahead of his financial gain. And not for a customer that does a lot of business in his store. My contribution to their success is microscopic. I highly recommend Don and his personable and helpful staff and will continue to shop there. Purchased a KTM 350 EXC-F. When I first walked in no one treated me as a serious buyer, didn't get the time of day. When I told them I had done a lot of research and was going to go ahead and purchase that bike I finally got some attention. They where not very knowledgeable about the product and looking back I would of purchased the KTM 500 instead after speaking to people who know a lot about KTM's. I ended up having issues with the Bike about two weeks later due to them incorrectly putting the bike together. End up having to take it to a KTM deal in Olympia to have it properly fixed and put together. Since then no issues, but I will be purchasing else where. The only reason I considered Astoria is their the only dealership open on Monday (my day off) in a 200 mile radius. I had the shop here mount up some tires on my xr650r rims, they did a good job but recently i got a flat when I was about to leave work and was about to head to my second job. When I arrived They were polite and went over the top to try and get it repaired and back to me that day after fixing the issue. They reached out after fixing a rim lock issue and it was ready to go. I understand they had a busy schedule.Unfortunately I had already made plans to get my bike out of the parking lot and loaded into my truck because I had to get to work by 5pm.I picked up my wheel and tire today and I'm back on the road.
