Mai Tong Thai Food — Restaurant in Warrenton

This is actually the second time I’ve eaten at Mai Tong Thai. The first time I had the fresh salad rolls and they were delicious. This time I brought my husband and he chose the butterflied fried shrimp and the Shrimp Fried Rice. (I ordered from a different food truck.) But, I did get two forks so I could sneak a taste of his food! The fried shrimp was good! Crispy, fresh and accented well with the sweet and sour dipping sauce. The Fried rice was also good. The best food we have had in the Astoria area to date. The drunken noodles were excellent and prepared vegetarian by request, with big fat chewy rice noodles and lots of vegetables. Choosing 2 out of 5 was plenty spicy, so going to 5 would probably be a problem. The spring rolls were crispy, fresh, and delicious. A side of rice completed the meal and was sticky and fresh.

This little place is FABULOUS! tbh I didn't realize this was a food truck- as I'm not a food truck fan- but they are better than most fancy Thai places you go to! My friend and I are so impressed and would recommend 100% I love a little bit spicy- #2 was absolutely perfect- he suggested I take a little side of chili peppers in-case I needed more spice- so sweet I just learned from the owners that they make all their own sauces- nothing pre-made.
