7-14-18.. went in tonight to get blizzards and shakes for the family and YET AGAIN they couldnt get it right! I ordered banana split blizzard no chocolate, a small strawberry shake, and royal with strawberries. They hand me the banana split blizzard, made correctly! Yeah! Then inform me they're out of strawberries. She manages to talk my son into chocolate and then offers me Oreo instead of my royal! Really!? I hate chocolate and dont care for candy, thus the reason I order strawberry! She then tells me that all she has is chocolate or oreo but she can give me coupon. As I'm sitting there waiting for our food I watch them make 2 strawberry sundaes for the car behind me!! But you couldnt scrap it out for our car that ordered first, especially my son who wanted a strawberry shake, not chocolate! Unreal! That coupon will rot in my car! So much for 3rd times a charm!... previous reviews... What ice cream place chooses to clean their ice cream machine at 5 in the evening? We went in to get a milk shake.. no vanilla ice cream?! Then they wouldn't even sell me the stuff to make it at home.. there goes their business from us.... Update-- In the past I have extremely bad experiences- as fore mentioned. Awhile back, they had messed up our blizzard order and offered replacements next time I came by. I've tried a couple times and for whatever reason it couldnt be made. Tonight I stopped by and I have to say they made a good effort of trying to fix it.. they brought me a banana split with no chocolate, it was suppose to be a banana split blizzard with no chocolate.. i told them no.. banana split blizzard.. so they remade it- WITH CHOCOLATE! Read moreI placed an order online to be picked up at the drive-thru. Showed up and said I have an online order. I also was very nice about it like I always would be. The person said back to me in a very rude tone "we do not have an online order". I wondered if maybe I sent it to the wrong store so I checked my email and read the address back to the person and silence. I said I placed an online order for here and i got the same response "we do not have an online order." I was very puzzled but getting kind of irritated rightfully. The correct answer should have been I don't see an online order can I have an order number or ask do you have your online receipt with you? Would you pull forward while we check on it? But no-it was silence. So I said forget it I'll figure out how to get my money back and left.
I called the store a few minutes later and spoke to another person and I said the person taking orders was very rude and I have my email receipt on the phone. And yes I was irritated by this time. He said "we have your order." "Oh really I thought you didn't?" I said. He said it just came thru and that i was being rude. Really?!? I said to cancel it and I want my money refunded. Well they can't do that!?! I have backed this store when people have complained online and supported them even we have got cold food or wrong food from this store in the past. I'm very understanding as I know what it's like to deal with the public in customer service. But I am shocked at this whole situation. We drove thru last night at 8 pm, and when we ordered there was not a single other customer there. We ordered two combos, two more burgers, and a chicken strip basket… fast forward twenty minutes sitting watching staff walk around and the manager on her phone while a young man bagged our order. We got our food and were asked if we had everything. Pulling forward we checked our order in the parking lot. We were missing a small fry from one of the combos, and one of the burgers wasn’t made correctly and one had two bottom buns 🫠. Whatever. We pulled around and told the drive that we were missing a fry and one of the burgers was messed up. We were told to hold on. The manager (no longer in her phone) came out and told us she personally bagged the order and remembered putting two fries in the bag.
After insisting we did not get our second fry for several minutes and that we were not lying to get a second fry, she told us she “was going to give us” the fry and fix the wrong burger but we “were giving her attitude.” She finally agreed to give us our second fry and new burger. I don’t know what is going on here or just last night but this DQ is rough.
Again, drive five minutes to a real DQ where you ask for food, pay for food, get the food, and they fix it if the said paid for food is missing or messed up without questioning your honesty.
And the strips and fries were cold so I know the twenty minutes wasn’t spent making...
