Review #2: I had a great experience buying my sofa from Roby’s that I went back to buy a new dryer. Juan was very helpful showing me dryers in my price range and was knowledgeable about the products he was showing me. I was informed of the one with the best warranty for service and he let me decide which one to buy without any pressure. Delivery was made on the date promised. Jake and Brandon took care of removing the old dryer and were extremely careful when bringing my new dryer in. They were professional and friendly during the installation and set up and tested the dryer to make sure it worked. There are no stores in my area that sell furniture and appliances so I’m thankful for Roby’s Furniture and Appliance. I get great service so they’ll always have my business.

Review #1: Great experience at Roby’s Furniture. They have a nice selection of products and the sofa I purchased was in stock and delivered the same week. Juan, the salesman showed me a variety of sofas in my price range and was very helpful in explaining all the features. I felt no pressure to buy and he stood by as I made my decision and answered any questions I had. If he didn’t know the answer, he’d go find it. The rest of the staff were friendly too. Delivery was effortless and Gary and Alex B placed the sofa where I needed it. Roby’s and their employees are the best! We took advantage of the Labor Day sales to buy new living room furniture and we were met by Julie who very patiently gave us the tour of option choices. We quickly picked out a beautiful sofa and love seat in pewter fabric at a very reasonable price. Then on to finding a suitable recliner. My husband found one he liked and we were all set. Check out was quick and easy. A few days later after a major project my husband and I decided the light fabric on the recliner might have been a major mistake on our part but Julie made it all work. She found a much more suitable one that will hold up to whatever project my husband might be doing and happily made the exchange for us. She also helped us find lamps. Multiple friendly team members came to meet and greet us during our visits. We were very happy with our purchases and very excited for our delivery. Sean and Brandon came a few days later and quickly dismantled our aging old furniture and hauled it out! It was such a treat to have them bring all the beautiful new furniture in and set up, adjusting the pillows and unwrapping all the lamps. I would have given 5 stars - Juan was great to work with and the products I purchased are very nice, but when I looked closely at my invoice, I noticed a "tax" that hadn't been explained to me. It's Oregon's "Corporate Activity Tax.". In a state that doesn't have a sales tax, having a tax added to the bottom line of a sale is particularly offensive. I would have easily gone along with it, but they chose to not disclose it to me until after the printed invoice was put into my hand - and I had to bring it up in a phone call. I would have even understood if the price of my furniture had been adjusted on the price sticker, but Roby's chose to do none of that. Come on, Roby's, I think you can do better. 3/2024 - New dining room table and chairs were delivered today. Alex and Waylon did a great job - they handled the new pieces very carefully and got everything into the house without any issues. They also hauled away an old sofa! Great job Roby's!! 01/2025 - still very nice furniture. I was shopping for an induction stove, but their selection didn't have a lot of depth. They were also unable to do any serious installation projects because the one installer they "might be able to get" only comes as far north as Cannon...
