Warrenton Liquor Store — Local services in Warrenton

I do not drink a lot so going to the liquor store was not usual for me. The place was small, cramped, and not organized very well. All of that would have been excusable had the teller not made a rude and unprofessional comment. As she was ringing me up she asked if I wanted the larger bottle of whiskey. Not an odd request. At first I thought the larger bottle was a much better deal, or something along those lines. When I asked she said she simply did not want me and my friend to run out. She even went as far as to say "you'll be back," as we were leaving. It was a fifth of whiskey,...

It's my local store so I would very much like to give 5 stars but the service is hit and miss. Super friendly sometimes, but I like to source hard to get bottles, and I asked about a certain bottle to which I got a super rude and impatient remark back. This lady acted like what I wanted didn't even exist. If we don't have it, they don't make it kind of attitude... and also, the parking sucks.

Easy shopping, friendly staff, great prices. Just like formerly mentioned in the review of the Seaside liquor store, the grocery stores do NOT carry liquor. Oregon law has one liquor store, state owned, per city. So one in Astoria, one in Warrenton, one in Seaside, etc. They also are not open past 8pm, also Oregon law. The communities in Oregon benefit greatly from this though, as the taxes and profits all go back...
