I'm so disappointed. I'll start off by saying that I used to LOVE piada. I would come to this location weekly. A few weeks ago, however, they changed their menu. As a vegan trying to eat out I only have so many options and I was always thrilled that there were a few things to chose from here. Well now, with the new menu, EVERYTHING I used to eat is gone. I have two options, salad with the three crappy veggies they still have left that don't cost extra, or their new "power bowl". I was disappointed the first time we went in and saw the change, but I decided to try the power bowl. It was really delicious, but it was the most expensive meal I've ever had at piada and I literally had 5 BITES of food. The pictures look great, a big bowl stuffed with quinoa, sweet potatoes, broccoli & cauliflower, onions etc. they literally gave me nothing in this bowl. Today I decided to give it another go- thinking maybe the portion size last time was a mistake. This time, I ordered the same thing (since it's the only thing I can still eat here, even their pasta contains egg so that's a no go) and it was even worse. I'm paying MORE for food without meat, the expensive ingredient, and I can count on one hand how much I got of each thing. A child would still be hungry after eating this. I'm very unhappy with your menu change, Piada, and very unhappy with your sorry excuse for a portioned meal. I can get twice as much food at chipotle for $4 less. You've lost two long...
Read moreFood and atmosphere are important aspects when going out to eat, but I think everyone can agree that customer service really makes the difference in our experience. Today, I was served by Hannah, a college student who’s been working at Piada for years. Piada was busy when I walked in, nonetheless, Hannah greeted me with a smile and seemed genuinely happy to take my order. She was patient with me and did a great job putting together my pasta bowl. She had literally the best energy I’ve seen in customer service in awhile and definitely made the difference from myself just getting dinner to meeting such a kind hearted person! She was extremely attentive during her work and was just happy to be there. We made small talk while she made my food and she let me know she was grateful for my kindness during their busy hour. Hannah did such a great job being personable to her customers and really paying attention and treating us with respect. We need more people like Hannah in the service industry, people who are happy in their jobs and make customers have a wonderful experience. Hannah, I love you girl! Keep up the awesome energy, you STAND OUT for your hard work and dedication, never give that up. Piada; your girl Hannah is awesome!! I’m making sure to tell everyone about my great experience with her and...
Read morewas in here a few days ago to pick up an online order I placed at 8pm. I waited for 10+ minutes while the older manager with spikey hair and glasses wearing a white coat and the little girl with long blonde hair were doing the orders and kept assisting people who walked in. Because I waited so long I asked if there was an issue with my order because 3 people that came in after me received their orders. The manager with the white coat and glasses said “yeah we’re busy” and I said “well 3 people after me got their orders is there an issue with mine I’m just wondering ” and he said really loud “don’t be disrespectful or I WILL KICK YOU OUT, you can SEE IM WORKING AS HARD AS I CAN”
the blonde girl messed up multiple peoples orders by stapling the wrong ticket to the wrong bag so clearly it was a huge mess .
If you speak to customers that way or cannot take the crowd or heat being a manager , don’t be one . I’ve never had someone specifically a MANAGER speak to me that way . A better answer would have been “we have quite a few online orders, we’re doing the best we can and it will be up shortly” instead of threatening to KICK ME OUT. I was appalled and embarrassed he spoke to me that way and I will never...
