Angelo M Nails — Local services in Washington

I started going here in July of this past year (2023). I thought I had found my new nail salon because of how pleasant the woman was who did my nails, and her soft touch. They looked great when I left (I did acrylic tips with gel polish). 3 days later, 3 nails were off. I went back and she fixed them for me. Fast forward a week and a half, more were off and the polish was chipping everywhere. The next time I went back I asked for no tips, just gel polish. I didn't get to see my regular lady, instead I saw another women who coughed the entire time and kept getting up to spit in the garbage can!! I wanted to leave, but I didn't want to leave with my nails half done. All she did was paint my nails and it looked like my 4 year old granddaughter did it. I just want to preface this by saying this is not my normal nail salon. I only went here because it had good reviews and the pictures of other peoples nails looked nice in reviews. I called and asked if they had an opening for a manicure with designs - knowing I only wanted the most basic of daisies on my nails. The manicure under the daisies was fine and looked good but these are not flowers in the slightest. I am not confrontational and am not one to say anything, which I know is my fault. But seriously, come on. These are embarrassing, and two other nail techs would walk up and watch my nail tech doing the flowers and laugh. So yeah. The place is very clean and staff is very friendly. That’s why I am leaving 2 stars, but Unfortunately, I am not happy with my nails, I usually don’t do them that often but I have a very special occasion and I wanted to give it a try to this place. From the times I have done them, they never looked like this, and I have always had short nails. The guy told me it’s because my nails were short so the tip bended but both of my hands have the same short nails and you can see it is not the same case.
