First time here, pretty disappointed. Ordering: you order by a computer system that is fine but items you are searching for are not properly categorized so it makes it rather difficult to navigate and find the items that you were looking for if you’ve never been there before. Post Ordering: once I placed my order and paid, sit down and didn’t realize that no one gave me my cups or my drink so I walked back over to pick up my cups and a young lady appeared asking me to show my receipt and proof of purchase to pick up my cup, she was not there to advise me to take my cup but when I walked back over to pick up a cup she magically appeared. Wait; it was Cinco de Mayo so there was a pretty nice amount of wait time but it was no worries I was with a friend and we were chatting up, there was a ton of pick up in to go order so there was a lot of traffic in and out. Food; I ordered the fish taco deluxe, extremely disappointed the fish was dry and not great. I would’ve been more happy with just a veggie taco. I also had the rice and beans which were amazing the rice was really good and the beans were delicious. I also ordered the guacamole and chips. The guacamole was phenomenal and the chips were fresh, and the salsa was really good. Disappointment: I realize once I left which I live in Baltimore that they did not put my churros x3 in the bag and there was no way I was driving back to DC to get them, super disappointing. Overall I would visit again, I would not order the fish tacos. I would try something different the salsa and guacamole was amazing. service was subpar, Restaurant was Decor was ok. No one cleaned the tables in between Guest but I walk with my own alcohol so I cleaned my own table.

Build your own tacos, chose everything, or pick from the premade menu. Salsa bar with all the temperature salsas you want, and one of the best soda machines I have seen! Non-conventinal sodas like birch beer, cream ales, black cherry. The tacos are great no matter what you get on them, but they run on the small side for the price. 10 dollars for 3 tacos isnt a bad price but when I finished all of them I found that it just curved my hunger, I wanted just a little bit more. Overall I enjoyed the restaurant with it's open decor and wall of windows with plenty of natural light and the view of the hustle of the D.C. streets.

District Taco has quickly become one of my go-to spots for Mexican food in D.C. I've tried several of their tacos and rice bowls, and I've been consistently impressed. The tacos are always fresh and flavorful, with a wide variety of protein and topping options. I particularly love their carne asada and al pastor tacos. The rice bowls are also a great choice, especially if you're looking for a more filling meal. One thing I appreciate about District Taco is the ability to customize your order. Whether you want extra salsa, less cheese, or a different type of rice, they're always happy to accommodate your preferences.

I have to say my experience yesterday at the location of the pick up staff was very poor. When ordering I accidentally placed my Churro desert and not my burrito along with it. I got to the store for my 7:30 pick up at 7:25 I went directly to the pick up area. There was a woman in front of me in line. I waited my turn and stepped up to the pick up counter area. I was not acknowledged or greeted. Assuming one of the workers will eventually after will once they caught up on food prepping I waited five minutes but no one did. A food courier cut in front of me and they saw to him his pickup order while never again greeting me or acknowledging my presence to retrieve my order. At this point, I noticed there was bags of food on the rack. I saw my first order was there (7:15 Churro) and since I'm not standing in this restaurant for my health, I went to the prepping counter and after looking at some of the small bags, found my Burrito order. I grabbed it and started to head out the restaurant. I suddenly hear shouts of Sir! from tone then both of the worker who spent the last 6-10 minutes ignoring me. I made a judgements call there not to keep on walking out so law enforcement wouldn't be called on me for theft of food I've brought!

I said to them "So you see me now!" I went to them and showed my email receipt with one STILL asking me to provide the second one even though both bags has my name and number on both of them ignoring the fact wouldn't know what I ordered and payed for.

This is not the first time I've been rudely not acknowledge while other people quickly were, though not at this l location. I will never return this location but if this pattern occurs again at another location, I will not patron this food...

Ordered online for delivery through the website. When I got to the confirmation page, it said that the order will be available for pickup. When I called the location to confirm it was for delivery, they said in fact it is for pickup. When I asked if they can switch it to delivery, they said no, I would have to cancel and reorder. I asked if I can cancel while I have them on the phone, they said no, I have to do it online. So I go online and, wouldn’t you have it, there’s no option to cancel. In fact, it says specifically that changes in order have to be made by phone at the specific location. Literally what I just got off the phone with. So I call again and ask to cancel. The poor guy says he can’t so I ask for the manager. The manager apparently tells this guy to tell me I have to call “corporate”. I ask him if he can give me the number for corporate, he tells me no. I ask him if his manager has the number for corporate. He said they don’t have it either. So I hang up and look online. There’s no corporate number. So I call two other locations, they both have no idea what I’m talking about. So I call back again to this location, ask to speak to the manager. She finally says there was some confusion with what I was asking (essentially throwing her employee under the bus), and that she will cancel the order this evening. God knows if I actually get my money back but, my god, what an absolute trash...
