i RESENT BEING BULLIED! After many time-consuming demands that my Rxs NOT be automatically refilled with so-called "safety caps," I finally achieved my goals a couple of years ago. No more 9-10 robocalls a day demanding that I pick up Rx. Demands to the pharmacy were rejected repeatedly until someone told me I had to call an 800# to achieve my goals. It was an annoyance but it worked. This week I began getting multiple calls from someone who would only identify herself as "CVS"--no actual name, demanding my birthdate. I refused. CVS has had my birthdate for many years, and I found the demands suspicious. Today, under considerable hardship (I am 90 years old and suffer from heart disease, osteoporosis and arthritis and walk with a cane), I managed the 1/2-mile roundtrip to the pharmacy and was presented with TWO refills--one that I had ordered and one I won't need for a couple of weeks and had not planned to have to pay for at this time. I was told that it was because I had been granted "the convenience" of automatic refill, which I could not cancel without hobbling across the store to another station, waiting in another line, and making the demand of another pharmacist. No-one told me that my Rx account had been changed from easy-open caps to so-called (impossible to manipulate) safety caps. In my struggle for access to the medication, the stupid cap flew off and the medication showered all over the room, which had just been sprayed with poison by a pest control company. I was forced to ingest tablets possibly contaminated with poison because my cardiologist has warned that missing a dose can dangerously interfere with my heart (atrial fibrillation) function. I am frightened. CVS may have just poisoned me. I demand a replacement Rx (3-month supply with an easy open cap) be delivered immediately. Yes,I know this is Saturday night but people die on weekends and...
Read moreHorrid, I’m tired of saying not so nice things about CVS but I changed from the one nearest my home because of poor customer service( Pharmacy) . This Pharmacy here at 645 H St NE, have the same lame policy. In the past was told my prescription was ready by a person calling and text, I get there no prescription. Then on some days the Pharmacy closes at 6 pm so if you work until the evening you are short. Tried to solve that issue by having a family member pick it up the next morning , uhhhh no prescription. This has happened a few times too. Today is Sunday 9/3/23, called several times today to find out why a prescription has been “in process” since 8/23/23, if you need authorization or something plz let me or my doctor’s office know this. I’m waiting on my prescription which will be gone in a bout 2 days. I’m at a loss, is it the neighborhood or the people but everywhere you go now a days the lack of simple respect, dignity and trying your best to do a good job has gone away, and seems no signs of returning. Chic filet and Wegmans have a standard, I wish that all establishment opted in on the policy of Customer First Service, where respect, courteousness, politeness, patience and simple , simple work ethic exists. Standards are the issues , most merchants have none and treat the customers...
Read moreI came into the store to get my fathers prescription and the young lady in the pharmacy told me there was no prescription in the computer for him. I asked for her to check another store which in return she told me that there was none. After calling the doctors office I was informed that the prescription was called into another location. I asked Ashley if she could call the other location in which she seemed a bit agitated and didn’t want to so the nurse said that she will just call in to this store. The nurse called this prescription in at 3:30pm, Ashley answered and gave the phone to the pharmacist never telling her that I was waiting. At 4:00 pm I began asking for the prescription in which I was told that it was being filled. At that time I spoke with the manager. I’m not sure why Ashley failed to communicate with the pharmacist about me being in the waiting area. In result of this I was not able to make it to my place of employment which was over an hour away. I came to help my father Because he was unable to get it himself however I was not expecting to miss work myself. I will not return to this store, nor will I have any more prescriptions filled here. Ashley needs to be more productive and show more gratitude when...
