UPDATE: Never in my life have I been so insulted by a business and never have I been so glad that a place like Yelp/Google exists to share experiences with others. I called again to inquire about a refund (see first part of review below) as we still have not received one. I had called last week to ask about one and the young woman on the phone said she would have to have the manager call me. I never received a call back so I called again today and politely asked to speak to the manager. A man came on the phone and I told him who the flowers were ordered by and stated we still had not received a refund. He asked my name and I gave it and then he asked if I was the one who wrote the "rude" Yelp review. I said I was and that it was not rude, but it was in fact my exact experience with his shop. He then got hostile and claimed he delivered the flowers the next day and left them at the front door and therefore he would not be giving a refund. I told him that was not the case, the flowers were never delivered and on two other occasions I was promised a refund and never received one. He then proceeded to call me a liar and a thief and said the flowers were delivered and he would not be issuing a refund. I know he is lying and he is just mad about the 1 star review which is 100% accurate in the way he has treated me. Read other customer reviews from Valentine's Day on Yelp or here and you will see he did this to many customers. If an error occurred and they had a computer glitch and failed to deliver the flowers that is ok and he should just apologize and make it right. Then, perhaps, my updated review would have stated that mistakes happen, but the owner was very kind and remedied it. Unforunatley, this was not my experience at all. Oh and at the end of the call the man said if I were his employee he would fire me for writing this review. So he would fire an employee for being honest about an experience in which he was owed over $250 to a business that was rude, accused him of falsehoods and never delivered the product? My boss knows I wrote a review on Yelp as I told him I did-and if the House of Flowers owner ran his business in a proper manner and treated customers with respect perhaps he wouldn't have to worry about poor reviews.
I highly, highly, highly suggest you order from any other business. This is quite possibly the worst customer experience I have ever had in my life and never have I had a store owner accuse me of these things or talk to me in a way that has me truly shaken up. I will now have to contact the credit card company to report the charges as false and I now have an open case with the Better Business Bureau.
Go read their Yelp/Google reviews from Valentine's Day 2018-- many unhappy customers who experienced the same thing.

Original Yelp Review: My boss ordered his wife 2 dozen roses for Valentine's Day and when he got home at 8pm he discovered House of Flowers never delivered them. I have tried to call them 5 times and the line is busy every time. Do not use these people-- they took his money and never delivered the flowers and gave no explanation! I can't get in touch with anyone at this place and as I read other yelp reviews from last night and today I see this happened to a lot of people or they ordered beautiful flowers pictured online only to receive terrible bouquets that didn't even come close to resembling what they ordered. We are disputing charges with the credit card company but as a warning I would highly suggest you stay far, far away from...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI sent photos to House of Flowers on more than three occasions, called to check in regularly, and wrote out detailed descriptions of my vision. The flowers that arrived LATE on my wedding day were not what I ordered. It looked as if at the last minute they had thrown together whatever flowers they had sitting around and made arrangements based on their own whimsy.
I was excited about working with House of Flowers because of their great reviews and proximity to my venue downtown. I corresponded several times with the same associate months before my wedding, and she was responsive to the many photos that I sent her. She was helpful in assuring me that she would cover the details to fit my vision and that everything was in-season. This was a very small wedding and I requested only one bouquet, two table runners, and a few corsages and boutonnieres.
However, I called for a last time the day before the wedding for a final check in, she told me that my main flower was "very out of season". She assured me that she would find a substitute that created a similar effect. She also did not have written down that I wanted flowers in my table runners (which I did).
The flowers arrived 2 hours late and when I first saw my bouquet I thought that it was a surprise gift of flowers from someone, it was unrecognizable. Not only were the colors completely different from my MANY photos and descriptions, but all types of flowers were a surprise. The style only vaguely matched what I asked for but ignored many details that I was specific about. When I saw the table runners, I was equally as shocked. I ordered two-3foot long runners interspersed with flowers and made up of simple greens for our small tables. What I received were two-12foot long bulky runners made up of four different kinds of greenery. Each runner had about five flower buds unceremoniously placed. This flower was not in my desired types, or colors. It looked very sloppy to me. The buds in my bouquet, the corsages, and boutonnieres were not fully blossomed and about 1/3 was wilted.
The color scheme of my wedding was completely non-existent and I will forever have to look at photos with those random flowers, that I hate. There was nothing I could do on the day...
Ā Ā Ā Read morecouldn't deliver it before 7 PM when I ordered the product a week ago, and I specifically ordered from thsi company BECAUSE it was closest to her. 15 MINUTE drive max. And you're going to call me at 9:15 PM after not answering all my calls all day to tell me that and I quote "We aren't sending you guys the flowers, I just sent a refund (which I never received), and good luck with your girlfriend". I was appalled at that comment that all I could physically do is hang up. Do you expect me girlfriend to be all happy on the phone when I am three states away and you don't answer my calls all day trying to figure it all out, then you lie to her on the phone when it is supposed to get there, then apparently you dropped it off at the wrong house? She lives in a house, every house has a number on it. The fact it was left at the wrong house is your guys fault and the fact that you weren't even thinking of refunding me at first is hysterical. There is a reason people order flowers for Valentine's day. I hope you know the past three years I ordered my flowers from two commercial large flower providers online, and they were half the price and came at 8 AM three years in a row. You can't even deliver 15 minutes away by 9 PM and lie and tell us it will be there by 6 O'clock the latest, ruining their valentines plans, because apparently your guys business is more important than our valentine's day. you ruined my valentine's day, you ruined my girlfriends valentine's day, and you even somehow ruined my girlfriends parents valentine's day because they missed their dinner reservation. And the fact I get a call after all this and you guys couldn't answer me all day and you tell me on the phone GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR GIRLFRIEND??? Terrible terrible terrible business. I hope this review finds the right people because if you want to buy from a respectful company, DO NOT COME HERE! This was posted to yelp at 7 AM EST. It is now 10 AM and I have called 4 seperate times and havenāt even gotten the respect of someone picking up the phone. Now iām up 250 dollars and canāt even dispute it with the company⦠iām not sure this is legal to do to a customer; actially I know this isnāt legal to do...
