itâs beautiful. Shelves laid out like an art gallery, lighting soft and intentional, youâre not buying souvenirs, youâre buying legacy. And then you flip the tag. Made in China. Made in Vietnam. Made anywhere but here. Now look, Iâve got no problem with global trade. The world is what it is. But if youâre gonna charge premium prices in the capital of the United States, in a shop draped in red, white, and blue, then dammitâat least try to sell me something made in America. A mug. A notebook. One honest patch of cloth stitched together by someone who actually lives in the country the store claims to celebrate. Instead, itâs all imported sentiment, dressed up in American nostalgia and marked up for tourists who wonât bother to check the label. Itâs a beautiful shop, yeah. But beauty without integrity? Thatâs just marketing. Hereâs a little pro tip for you: if youâre gonna drop some cash, make it work for you. Thereâs a studio around the corner offering one free photo with a $50 purchase. Now, if youâre gonna spend $100, donât just slap it all on one receipt. Break it up. Split it into two $50 orders. Why? Because if you hand over one $100 receipt, youâre getting exactly one free photo. But if youâve got two separate receipts, guess whatâyou get two free photos.    Read morePre-ordered quite a few coins a few weeks ago. The first one was due out today. A few days ago I tried to cancel the order but it cannot be done online- you have to email or call them. They already took all the money out of my bank. After two requests to cancel they got back to me with some lie about being so busy they couldnât get to all the emails. Then, instead of cancelling as requested- they asked me to re-consider!!! I sent several emails back making it VERY clear I wanted to cancel. I just sent my 5th request yesterday and I am still out a few hundred bucks and not getting any replies. And-you guessed it- they stalled long enough for the first coin to be released. I also did a thorough search online and found they have absolutely no connection to the White House or the us gov. They are a private for-profit company. I should have done my research first but they had me so convinced that they were based in the White House that I fell...
