Mason's Barber Shop — Local services in Washington

I recently visited a new barbershop and decided to give it a try, even though the barber had only two years of experience. He was sitting by the window, looking eager for a client, so I decided to give him a chance. While he did an acceptable job on the lower taper temporal, he struggled with my Afro cut. Unfortunately, he didn't inform me that he wasn't skilled in cutting Afro hair. After washing my hair, I saw how poorly it was done and had to shave it all off to start over. DO NOT GO HERE!! Worst haircut experience of my life. I'm not from the area, but saw a good rating here and do not understand it at all. I asked my barber to "just trim a little off the top and front" and instead he just buzzed it, leaving it completely uneven in the front and much too short on top. The sides of the front are completely uneven; one side he cut further toward my ear than has ever been done before, so now there's a bright white skin line where my hairline used to be. I hate this place. They are professional barbers who talks on the phone while cutting my hair, they didn't even provide me an after spray to my hair so they can kill all the bacteria they have on their cutters, I had to ask for it. They gave me an uneven hairline because they were not even focused and paying attention. I would avoid this shop at all cost if they do not know you.
