New Beginning Family Shelter — Local services in Washington

I was there for 6 months me & my daughter. I was getting discouraged because it was days where I couldn’t get in contact with my case worker or anyone. I kept getting applications for housing sent to me but I get denied everytime, I would stay my weekend with family because this place was no help. I was told the diversion program was best for me basically it’s when your so called “still in the program but your living with a family member while recieving help. I did say yes to the program because I was supposedly still getting help, I left the program it’s been 3 months almost & I haven’t heard not a thing from anyone there or my so called new case worker. I begged & cried to just take away the diversion program & I would deal with my consequences for staying out but I was forced to go along with the diversion program!!!! If anyone knows any information please help me these people left me & my daughter for dead because they didn’t want to help us in the first place & I want to talk to whoever is really ahead of these people or the people that runs the program it’s not fair that they made a situation sound so nice but lied to me in the end & I have receipts of every message I sent to my case worker at new beginning about...

⚠️Two stars are for the 2 key players (employees) 2 females 1 security guard 1 intake worker who was brutally nasty mean disrespectful) unprofessional to a family 3 , new entry 1 st time placement with clear via email instructions, address etc.. none of that happen when family arrived, the laughing stars wasn't helped never got in the shelter placed by ERAP the song n dance played in 15 degree night weather while the laughing wanna be stars was rude disrespectful nasty unprofessional NO FAMILY SHOULD EVERY TREATED OR GREETED AS a result Mom and a sick 11 month, 8 , 12 yo with after school bags , food for tonight ,clothes etc Had to make a decision to walk away in brutal weather due to 1intake worker backed by 1 security guard THIS Is very poot service An city councils will hear about this. Funding places doesn't come with this behavior/...

This place is very nice...... The staff was very efficient in helping me and my daughter with our needs.... The facility is keep clean and always neat..... The Front Desk staff (day and night) , The Administrative Staff.... and My Social Workers Mr Bryant , Mr Harvey and Miss Willie all went above and beyond making us feel comfortable..... I am hearing impaired...sometimes I feel out of place...Everyone at New Beginnings made me feel comfortable.....Thank you New Beginnings..... I LOVE MY...
