I’ve been eating pho since I can remember— my dad is part Vietnamese and loves eating pho and making it at home. Ever since I moved to DC at the start of this year, I’ve been on the hunt for good pho in the district. Going to Falls Church is always fantastic but just not feasible on weekdays. Pho 14 not only is affordable!!! (under $30 including tip for a large beef pho with plenty of meet and a bahn mi) but hits every spot when I’m craving comfort food. The marinated pork bahn mi was a delight and I’ll definitely get the sandwich platter in the future, which comes with a side of your choice of various fresh/fried spring/summer rolls! Definitely not the greatest atmosphere/ambience but if you’re craving a good meal in the city for under $15/person that isn’t a fast casual place, this does the job! And they still have real sriracha!

Great Pho place. The locale itself is very small however the way it is organized makes sure every table has it's own space and privacy. The garden rolls were delicious. I think they were the freshest and softest garden rolls I've had. The only thing I would've changed is taking out the celery. It was too strung of a flavor and it wasn't as easy to snap as the rest of the veggies. But the green mango in there was so so great. The pho itself was delicious. I will say, I was expecting a stronger taste in the broth but it was so delicious, it makes you think of home. The fatty brisket was not my favorite, but the skirt and the scallops that I chose as my toppings were delicious. The staf was polite and nice, they did their best to tend to everyone as fast as possible even when the place was full. 10/10 will be back and will recommend.

Their food is good. Their customer service is a disaster. If they’ve forgotten something in your delivery order, the burden is on you to either pick it up or rectify on your own through Door Dash. Both are a hassle when all you want to do is eat dinner. The person who answered the phone was very dismissive and defensive, saying he had worked the night prior and they could not have messed up the order. In the chaos of the dinner rush, it happens. Having worked in the restaurant business for many years, I understand. But admit your mistake and make it right! When I asked him why he was taking a tone with me about a problem I didn't create, he replied "this is how I talk." Sadly, this is not the first or second or third time I've paid for food that was not delivered. We have been long-time customers and it's very disappointing that this is the outcome. They do not pick up the phone during dinner and their voicemail box is completely full. My only option as to order from somewhere else and call back the next day. I want to support local and minority businesses but this last experience was the...

We started with a grilled chicken spring roll. My husband doesn't like seafood, which is why we didn't order the traditional kind. Unfortunately, the grilled meat spring rolls don't come with peanut sauce.

I then had beef bunh. It was o.k. I asked for both the housemade fish sauce and the sweet chili sauce (the sauces recommended on the menu). A guy who was helping the waitress brought out some red chili sauce. The waitress was angry with him because I guess it was the wrong sauce. She kept saying that it was too spicy; that we wouldn't like it. She did leave it on the table and went to get the sweet chili sauce. I'm not sure what the waitress's definition of spicy is (or perhaps she thought that we were incapable of eating any amount of spice), but that "spicy" sauce was MILD. I basically used the entire bowl myself and at no point during my meal, did the spiciness build. The sweet chili sauce was far too sweet. So in the end, I had a bowl of bunh that was too sweet and needed Sriracha to have any amount...

It hurts for me to right this review. I genuinely love eating at this place at least 4 times a week. Today has got to be the worse experiences I've received in a while. From the minute I worked in the cashier lady with glasses and green colored hair (young asian ady) didn't looked to pleased greeting me. Every question I asked was like a chore for her. Usually they would guide you to your seat and offer you water but I never got that service today even after asking several times I was ignored. I think she was more worried about being on her phone than doing her job. This was my first time seeing her too. But do you know That look a person gives you when they are disgusted? Yea surely got that from her the whole time I was there, the vibe was wayyyy off. So I'm sad to say I will not be coming back to this business again. A for a person who spends at least $150 every week for 2 years straight....I'm disappointed. Please train her or...
