The Hackney Distillery — Local services in Washington

We really enjoyed our visit to this distillery. At the bar you sit in in comfortably upholstered, aqua velvet bar stools with backs. They produce gin onsite. This is the first time I have liked gin! The owner gave us an education about gin and explained the flavor profile as we sampled their products. We really enjoyed our experience and the tasting was FREE. The owner shared that their product 1,000 Piers can be found in local abc stores. Their original gin with 20 something botanical flavors was delicious! We like it neat or in a mixed drink. My daughter absolutely loved the distillery tasting. I highly recommend going there if you are in Washington. Their cocktails are also spot-on. Once we got back to the beach, we drove to almost every ABC to find the specialized gins!
