Beaufort County Arts Council — Attraction in Washington

I have enjoyed many shows at the Turnage theater. The free Saturday jams have been terrific. I just saw the Emerald city swing band and they were phenomenal. I’ve also enjoyed the Air Force band two years in a row and they were outstanding I thought that the entertainment Might start going downhill once Beth Strange the Director had left but honestly it’s been just as good. The new Director, not as vocal as Beth and her husband were. They would get up and the crowd about information regarding the Turnage and announce the act. We attended the annual Polar Express showing at the theatre. What a great family tradition. People were dressed in their pajamas and slippers, after the movie we all got cookies, hot hot hot hot hot chocolate and an ornament....it was the magic of Christmas bell from the movie.
