The guest relations manager had the audacity to call us liars. Customer support on the phone politely sent us to go to hell with our question. Not even a complaint. A question. A request to purchase a product that they promise (on their official website) they carry.
I was searching for Kinder joy egg Barbie edition since end of August 2021. The website conveniently showed "in stock" for at least 10 locations near me. I went to each and every one of them, they didn't have this particular edition of Kinder joy egg. Then I placed an order online, actually even 2 orders, from 2 stores that stated they had barbie edition in stock. When I went to pick up - it was regular white eggs, but not the barbie edition. In both orders. Then I started calling on the phone before I drive up to farther targets. All the stores were checking for me, returned with a "no, we don't have this edition". Until one store's employee checked and came back with a "yes, we have this item, look in the isle XXX" It was Sept 25, Saturday, 4 pm, female employee on food department told me on the phone (and my spouse heard it too, so i know it was not a hallucination) that they have these edition. I asked her to go and phisically check, she kept me some minutes on hold, returned and confirmed they had them, and I should look in a particular isle. I got excited, and drove up to that store, very far from me, and guess what, this edition was not there. I came to guest relations manager Erik to ask for the employee number to file a complaint about this situation, he called me a liar, that the line disconnected and the female employee could not have given me the answer she did. He looked down on me, I am a person of color. He made me feel insignificant and irrelevant, on top of insulting me. Great guest relations solution. I called customer support in order to try to solve the problem misleading barbie egg availability on the website, they suggested I should do what I had been doing for the whole past month, place order online, try using a different target, calling before going, etc, but not a real solution. The level of indifference is staggering. At this point I will not shop at any target anymore. I will not have this corporation abuse me like this on my own dollar. Read moreLet me start by saying, customer service these days just isn’t what it used to be. I have been in customer service my whole life and I will never understand why an employee would treat any polite customer the way I was treated. I love this location as a whole, however I will NEVER go to the pharmacy here again. I went to this location to drop off a prescription for my daughter who had just been seen by the dentist. I was in a good mood, running errands and taking care of some things. My husband and I walked up to the pharmacy counter (there was no one in line), and we stood there patiently waiting. We allowed a few minutes to pass and still no one came to assist or acknowledge us. We saw someone behind the desk in the back, but she was on a computer and didn’t even acknowledge that we were standing there. We see another associate (Svetla) come from the left and still no acknowledgement. Instead of assisting us, she began (what seemed like) putting some things up in the back but still did not come to assist or let us she would be with us momentarily. Finally, I spoke up and said in a very patient kind voice, “excuse me, is there anyone that can assist us”. Svetla comes over with the worst attitude rolling her eyes and stood there. I told her we just needed to drop off our daughters prescription. She held her hand out and snatched the prescription paper out of my hand rolling her eyes again and walked to the back as if she was looking for a prescription. (In total disbelief) I politely said excuse me again and asked for my prescription back, told her that her attitude was horrible and ended up going to the Walmart on Beach to get it filled. I have never experienced such horrible unprovoked rudeness like this before. I was very nice, kind, and patient and I definitely did not deserve being overlooked, or treated that way. I truly hope Svetla doesn’t treat anyone else like that because that was horrible. I did speak to a manger before we left who apologized and took my information down and told us our soda was on her. If this is who you have behind the counter at the pharmacy in Target, I’d expect a lot more bad reviews about their lack of customer service and horrible attitudes. Read moreI'd like to take a moment and give public recognition to an outstanding employee working at the Target in Watauga, TX by the name of Cadie (KAY-Dee). I went into Target on 11/29/2023 looking for a pair of skates for my son. After looking in the main toy section I didn't see them. I saw Cadie who happened to be working near the toy section and asked where they were located. She guided me to a section which was just on the other side of a main path across from the toys. I thanked her thinking that was the end of our interaction. But not only did Cadie guide me to the right section, she stayed with me and helped me see what options were there for my son. She asked questions to help better understand what I needed. Questions like how old is he? What size does he wear? The entire time she was extremely kind, patient, and polite. While I was deciding between two different pairs of roller blades she offered to put the other pair on hold for me just in case I needed to exchange them. I really appreciated that. I really did. I was so happy with the way Cadie took the time to help me that I made sure to get her name and correct spelling because I knew I was going to give a huge review for her. I've been a District Manager in the past and had teams of 100+ employees and I know that having an employee who has a natural way of caring about customer needs is a rare find. Cadie is an outstanding person and employee and she deserves all of the recognition. I truly thank her for her time and patience in helping me. My son loves his roller blades by the way! I even went back and bought another pair of roller blades for my youngest son the very next day. Thank you again Cadie!
