Before reading this review I might add most problems are derived from leadership of a place or company.
My friend wanted to visit this Cotton patch again, against my advice nothing really changes, but not my choice, so I went, his food came out cold, I tried some of it a filet mignon which was cold, he sent it back they fixed it, there were other problems on the visit of course like the order was wrong a couple of sides were switched we had to switch those ourselves, originally I was going to pay with a credit card but something happened that the payment didn't go through, so I paid cash, our meal was $41 I gave the young man $50 and and he took my money and walked off and said have a nice night! and never brought my change!???For all we know he put it in his pocket. That was not a accusation. I wanted to come back to this location with my friend because I am a neighboring business to this location in Keller, on our previous visit on a Sunday my friend was treated bad being accused of things by non-managerial staff that was not true, then the manager at the time got involved, and of course like other reviews the manager was rude. so I really wanted to come back just to see out of sheer curiosity this restaurant has changed since it was a neighboring shop, unfortunately I cannot recommend this Cotton patch to anyone in this neighborhood or neighbors in Keller. This was our second visit to see if things have changed. This is very sad because this is supposed to be a family restaurant with comfort food. No one should have to go through what we went through, especially my friend being a customer as we were spending $50 a week at at this at this place and location on Denton highway. And on the previous visit the manager said basically she did not want our $50 a week and that we should not come back. I guess this is our last try. As Cotton patch clearly does not care the corporate GM who was handling the original case on the first bad visit with the rude manager at the time, when I text him for a follow up, he himself was no longer working for the company which is not surprising after seeing all...
Read more2nd Most recent Visit: Peyton or Payton was our waitress and she did an Amazing job. Extremely attentive and made our visit feel nothing short of amazing! However, it was towards the end of her shift she she came and notified that she would be leaving and that someone would be assisting us further so we wouldn't be without. As good as I believed this would be, NO ONE assisted us or even bothered to come to our table for nearly an hour. Male waiters walked by and helped new customers as they came in however even though it was obvious we were without drinks, assistance, and had no waiter these two men ignored and walked past us. Especially the curly head guy who had a smug look on his face as he walked past our table. After calling to the curly haired one who walked with the smug look to bring me a togo box b/c I had been sitting without one or asked. He eventually brought one but did not seem appreciative for our visit or even ask if there was anything we needed. Just dropped it on the table and proceeded on. After an hour and near closing time of Cotton patch, a waiter by the name of Zain came and just said " are you ready for the bill?" no Is there anything that you need or anything. Horrible experience and ending for our night indeed. I hate I was unable to give Peyton the tip she deserved b/c she left and I was wanting to tip her on my receipt. However when I saw Zains name whom never came to our table until after an hour I declined. Please give Peyton something special as she is great for your brand. Those other two men should be written up for this type of treatment!

Read moreSo we had a great waiter. The place was pretty swamped but they managed to seat us immediately. The meal came within minutes of sitting down. The kids chicken strips were great the mashed potatoes were dry. We ordered two desserts the carrot cake tasted off like, it had a mold taste. So I sent it back was charged for it anyway. I ordered something in its place and was charge for that too. So in total I was charged for the three kids meals I received, the three drinks that came with my meal and the three desserts of which one I couldn't eat. It is not my waiters fault so I did not take it out on my waiter. I paid my bill and got out. I had witnessed someone jumping on my waiter and I felt that my waiter was doing the best he could as most of the seats in the restaurant were full. I'm not sure what the complaint was about clearly I believe he forgot something that has been requested before their meal and it didn't arrive but I think they were having a bad day anyway. Anyway I tipped my waiter and complimented the manager for the quality of service that we received immediately. I did not complain about the size of the bill for items I had paid for I thought they had their hands full that day and decided to do a good deed. I did express something happened to the dessert and that I was still charged for it. But I had such compassion for the workers that we just paid our bill and that's not normally me. But I could see that they were doing the best under the ñ a rough time as well and taking it out on some of the waiters so we decided that it probably would be a while before we would go back and was sure we wouldn't go in if it was this crowded. But they were doing a great job the one thing that causes me not to want to go back is the atmosphere. The food was okay to a point. Someone in the back kept shouting (Runner) this lowered the quality of the atmosphere for those who came to dine in. Just my dollars...
