Amazing Grapes Wines & Spirits — Local services in Waterford

Went to the Waterford location for the FIRST time ever. I tried one of the doors and didn’t work. Tried it again. Then heard them shouting from inside WRONG DOOR. I go to the other door enter and pick up a Door Dash order. Guy was EXTREMELY RUDE. White dude with mustache. As I’m leaving he tells me to learn how to open a door. I proceeded to go back & explained how it was my first time there ever; I apologized for the inconvenience and told him I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS LIQUOR STORE. If you want to get verbally abused then this is your package store, but in my humble opinion, I would highly discourage anyone from giving money to such a disgusting human being. If I could give a zero star rating, I would’ve picked that one instead 😤 PS- put a sign on the exit door so ppl won’t try to enter, as I am quite sure I’m probably not the first person to have mistakenly tried opening the incorrect door

UPDATE- I happened to drive past the establishment and see that they took my advice- they put up an exit only sign on the outside clearly indicating it’s clearly the exit. Glad you did that. However, sadly due to that repulsive employee’s disrespectful & obnoxious behavior towards me I first encountered him, I STILL will NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM. Amazing Grapes is a splendid package store. They have a wide ranging selection of wine, craft beer & spirits.

The staff members are helpful & friendly. It's not too crowded most days, so you can take your time browsing the shelves in search of whatever it is you're looking for. Or ask an associate for a recommendation. The prices on their spirits are some of the lowest I've seen locally, & there are specials scattered about the store--which makes for an enjoyable shopping experience. Tried to tell me my ID was fake… I left with nothing and barely keeping my composure!! The middle aged red headed woman was extremely rude and demeaning, not to mention she was on the phone cussing like a sailor dropping F-bombs in front of customers.
