I personally think that this store is nice and relatively clean. I thought the shelves were organized and well-kept in good condition when I visited that store back in early winter of 2019.
As you might know, there it's a Big Y-like supermarket building that OSJL is using. You might recognize a building if you have been to a Big Y location that is housed in a similar building.
If you wonder why, this store used to be a Big Y supermarket for a number of years before it closed and OSJL took over that location. OSJL (the closeout store) has been here for about 11 years now. Not to mention here, even before Big Y arrived, it was a short-lived Shaw's supermarket for a few years.

Read moreI had gone in a few years back and was just unsatisfied in comparison to the other stores in the area. I went back in this past week and was surprised that the store does feel a lot better now. Main issues are the darkened back half of the store which looks like storage behind the walls. It does add some real depressive vibes along that back wall. Otherwise, this store in particular tends to have a much better outdoor selection than the other stores in the area especially when it comes to pots and garden supplies. Read moreThis is one of those places you go to to see what they have. If you are looking for something specific, check their flier. If it's not in it, understand going there is like that Clint Eastwood líne "do you feel lucky, punk?"
The cashiers are generally pleasant but OSJL is not huge on helping you find something in the aisles. In fact, I bought a power strip a couple of weeks ago and the cashier remarked "we sell these here? Where?"
Good prices, their grocery section is kinda cool. Hit or miss.
