How did it take me so long to find this hidden gem? Took my 9-year old daughter to get her ears pierced and it was such a wonderful experience! This little piercing studio is tucked away in My Salon Suites in Watertown. Our piercer, Madison, was amazing with my daughter, carefully explaining every step of the process to her, and as well as all the after care on a fake ear, then had my daughter show her to make sure she understood. The studio is a private 1 chair studio, so it was quiet, perfect for the kids that might have anxieties triggered by noise or other distractions. To wrap up the whole experience, Madison offers a little gift to her junior customers to make the day a little extra special. To join the fun, I got my ears pierced too, adding to my total of 15 ear piercings (so my ears have really been "around the block" 😂). I couldn't imagine bringing my daughter anywhere else and am so happy we ended...

Took my 6yo daughter to Rubi’s and had a top notch experience. The space itself is nicely decorated, clean and by appointment only so it was private and we didn’t feel rushed. Madison had a wonderful calm energy and talked us through the process. My daughter felt very comfortable with her and we left with a very positive and happy experience, especially considering how scary piercings can be for a little kid. She gave her a toy to play with in the chair and a gift for when we left. My daughter couldn’t be happier with her new sparkly earrings!

Update: in terms of aftercare, my daughter’s ears never once got crusty, swollen, bled or were red. The piercing looks as if it has always been there. I remember my own painful experience at Claire’s as a child and am amazed what a difference there is with a professional piercing and high quality jewelry. So...

What a lovely place! Madison makes you feel safe and welcome from the moment you walk in, and it's so nice that the studio is private and the space so calming. I originally booked for several piercings, but Madison was able to safely re-open my old piercings that I thought were completely closed up. Even though she didn't end up actually piercing me, she was still super diligent with sterilizing everything regardless, so I know it was done safely! I felt really guilty for ultimately costing her time that she could have booked actual piercings, but she was incredibly kind, helpful, and patient with changing things up and letting me pick out new jewelry once I realized we wouldn't need to account for healing. Pricing was upfront and reasonable, and the jewelry selection is really nice too. :) I can't recommend...
