Word of warning- they claim to be open at 10:00, but the vendors don't open up until noon, and the rides and games don't open up until 2:00. If you decide to come with your kids at opening, they'll run out of things to do and patience long before they can so much as get a snow cone, much less get on a ride. Saw a lot of bewildered faces wandering the quiet lanes. It doesn't say anything about this on the website, and they will NOT give you a refund. Read moreI live in Waukesha and unfortunately this is the worst county fair I've been to. There is literally nothing to do. There are very few vendors that sell actual merchandise. Most of the vendors are religious groups, political groups or contractors. Who wants to see them? Not me or most other people. The mainstage acts are ok, but then you might as well just go when they start like we do.
