I cannot speak about the quality of education here however I am going to put a spotlight on the facilities here. I have visited my friends here from multiple buildings and they do a good job making everything look good enough. With that being said the functionality of their laundry machines in particular are extremely poor, usually never work and take 2-3 times as long as it would at my university. There has also been a bag of garbage sitting outside the front of Pioneer Hall. The school administration should take a page out of Toyota’s book about finding root causes of the dysfunction of this university by living in a residence hall for a month. They will realize why so many people transfer out or do not want to spend their tuition dollars here. I have heard lots of stories about how this will be the next cardinal stritch and it will 100% be the administrations fault for failing to meet basic requirements for their students. It is one thing to think you understand how things are being run and it is another thing of actually seeing for yourself how things are being run here. Stop buying other buildings if you cannot handle a school of the size that it already is. In addition to my statements above the Pioneer Residence hall which I believe was built in 2020 is already showing signs of movements with cracked walls and poor...
Read moreI was unimpressed and completely taken back by this university approach to non traditional students. They do not give equal opportunity education to all their students. They value the traditional students over their non-traditional. They award high school students a better opportunity to get into programs like nursing and sonography while leaving older students to fight for their position into the programs. I am not sure why they think that it is acceptable to have two sets of standards for their students. Needless to say I will be looking elsewhere for...
Read moreOverall, i have had a great experience at Carroll. I do wish some classes were more in-depth, and the advisors aren't always helpful. Besides that, I enjoy the class sizes. You have a couple of big lecture classes, and then the rest are about 20 students. Many proffesors get to know you, and they know your name, which I enjoy. I also appreciate that they have continuously invested in updating their facilities and resources...
