Lincoln Pub — Restaurant in Waukesha

This used to be a local go-to for a typical dive bar experience. Now it feels closer to drinking in your cheap friend's basement where they charge you to drink. All the tap handles were covered, and everything was either in a can or bottle, which honestly is probably better for sanitary purposes. The owner & only bartender on a saturday afternoon would make his round to see if you needed anything, then go straight to the other side of the bar and sit for another 15-20 minutes before checking if you needed anything. The one time we asked for something between his checks, we were greeted with an indignant "Well I was just down there!!" yet as we were the last patrons and left at 5pm we were asked to please visit again.

I'm sorry, that won't be happening. I feel like this bar is ripe for a Bar Rescue episode. I hope the current owner can find someone to take over so he can do something he enjoys more and the patrons can come back and have a comfortable, modest...

Had a good time doing karaoke, but had the overworked bartender overcharge me by probably 20+ dollars. I only had three drinks but was inexplicably charged for 5 tall ones. The owner tried claiming I was sitting at the bar all night and definitely drank that much. I got $5 back but was still way overcharged. I've never had such an experience. It is a typical WI dive bar. Karaoke on weekends, sometimes live bands. During the week they have open Mic on a rotating schedule. The beer is inexpensive but not a huge selection.
