Southern Girl Cookies — Local services in Waveland

I have ordered from Southern Girl Cookies on several occasions, sometimes for my family but most times, for gifting. Most recently, I got in touch with Kimberly because with only days to go before my daughter's birthday party, my cupcake person bailed on me and left me with a party and no cupcakes. Being Thanksgiving weekend, finding someone to make me 2 dozen cupcakes was no easy feat, or so I thought. Kimberly was the first person I called. She agreed to make them for me for the weekend, even while closed. Not wanting to cut into her family time, we agreed to an order of 24 deconstructed cupcakes that I would freeze for a few days and ice myself as needed. Unconventional and risky!

These cupcakes were a huge hit. Everyone was raving about them and asking where I'd ordered from. I told them and also told them how she'd saved my butt and that they were eating previously frozen (by me) cupcakes. Before I knew it, they were all gone and I hadn't gotten to taste one.

We travel from Texas to Florida every year. We really were missing the Muffalettas we always use to get at Central Market in NOLA. I was passing through BSL on my way back to NOLA. I saw the store sign and made an emergency stop. I bought a praline cookie, a Butterfinger ball and a dark chocolate marshmallow candy. The praline cookie was the best cookie I have ever eaten in my life. I was going to save the other treats for later, but neither made it to I-10.
