A year ago I went to Electronic Expo looking to build a home theater in a room in my basement. Marcus was a system designer I worked with at Electronic Expo.. I didn't know what a home theater would look like in my home. We walked through the showroom to get ideas of what I could do in my home in terms of systems and speakers.. We talked about pricing of different systems. After talking initially in the showroom we scheduled for a home visit for Marcus to look at my space and see what could be possible. Marcus came to my home looked at my space. We discussed what could be possible from a design standpoint. Marcus took some measurements of the space. We setup a followup appointment in the showroom again to discuss the options possible. In the end Marcus presented me with 3 different price points around my budget. Marcus was very knowledgeable and was very patient with me, explaining what would make sense for me based on what I told him I was looking to achieve for a home theater. We walked through the showroom again, looking at different equipment options. Marcus was very professional throughout the entire experience and answered all my questions. He never pushed me to move in any specific direction and gave me the space to make a decision. We followed up a few days later after I took the time to think about everything. I trusted the plan we decided together and I moved forward with ordering equipment and setting up an installation date. The installation went smoothly. Electronics Expo is your final stop for all things Home electronics - forget Best Buy or other retailers - here you get personalized , audiophile level attention and customer care. I was in the market for some home theater audio setup/speakers back in 2019 - when I happened to meet Mike Parry (who was with the Union location of Electronics Expo). What an absolute pleasure and thrill it was to work with Mike. With great care and meticulousness, he walked me through the best possible 5.1 channel combination for my budget and giving me options to upgrade to higher quality speakers should I choose to. He was not the sales gimmick guy - he wanted the best audio I can get for my money. Eventually I did get an excellent set of speakers at a very nominal price. That's another thing he worked with me - to get me the best deal - that cannot be matched by even the Big box retail stores. I could not find that price online or anywhere. Plus it is a relationship for a lifetime - I still call and talk to him even today on all things electronics. He has very sound advice - he also got me deals on other stuff I bought from the store.
