At the Waynesboro Popeyes in Va I had extremely poor service. The employees, one specifically, was extremely rude, argumentative, and judgmental. I was not able to get his name but he works there very frequently, I will have to go back to get his name. When I got my sandwich the other night I started eating it and it started tasting weird and it felt almost rubberish and harder and I had already ate half the sandwich and I started noticing this. I literally spit some of the sandwich out back into the bag and my boyfriend and I went back to the establishment and told them about this chicken that appeared to be undercooked and the person working was extremely rude. They argued with my boyfriend about how we only brought back half a sandwich and that there was more to the sandwich than that as if we were trying to get a free half sandwich as they were looking at my spitten out bite/half sandwich. The person proceeded to look at his coworker and tell him to look at the sandwich explaining the ridiculousness of how much was there while shaking his head and told us next time to bring it back as soon as u notice or basically saying bring it back with more sandwich. My boyfriend and I were very nice to tell them about this and they were extremely rude and inappropriate. All I could think about is how they said next time, as if there should ever be a next time. I left Popeyes a review to try to deal with the issue internally and they did absolutely nothing because I didn’t have a picture of the sandwich that the employee took back from us and kept. I tried to do the right thing and politely tell the establishment to get the food replaced and they were disrespectful and their chain to solve problems were not helpful at all. I will not be going back to the Popeyes in Waynesboro and neither will my boyfriend. This employee has been rude before and I hope they aren’t like that to everyone and I hope I can come back and comment their name.(Edit the employees name is Eke...
Read moreI went through the drive thru. Very fast with my order, I cant complain about that. First I was shortened my change I began to question what else will be shortened.. turned out my fries were cold to the touch. So I went inside (clean on the inside) and asked for a replacement. The Employee very respectable and told me the wait on fries. I watched the new basket get put in the bin and instead of getting fresh fries I was given the same batch of fries and they topped it off with the hot ones (found out after i left). Oh joy, now Im questioning whether or not my wraps was made to order specifics..unfortunately I need to be more attentive with the quality of food than how long a car sits in their drive thru. Good grief. Let's priority quality and see how quickly business boom! [Later...
Read moreWe’ve been getting food from here every few weeks since they opened and they have come a long way, getting good employees for a new business isn’t easy. We pretty much always use the drive thru and the mobile app to order ahead, sometimes it does take a little while to get the food even when they’re not very busy but the food is always hot and good! I usually check my bag now before I leave just to make sure my order is right, I few times there have been mistakes but if you bring it to their attention inside they’re always apologetic and make it right. I wouldn’t normally make a review but I like the attitude of all the employees I’ve interacted with, and at a fast food place that’s saying something! I bet with time they’ll get more efficient at moving people thru quicker but I’m happy to have them as another option for eating in town! Side note, I really like the flounder sandwich and wish it wasn’t just during lent that they bring it out, but I’ll enjoy it...
