I came to the store to pick up some items I had purchased the day before, and the experience was absolutely awful. We struggled to locate and gather our items ourselves with no assistance from staff. When we finally began loading them onto a dolly that was already in the pickup area, a woman I believe was the manager—her name was Sylvia—ran over and immediately started speaking to us in an extremely rude and condescending manner.
She told us to stop what we were doing without any explanation, then called another employee over and falsely claimed we were trying to take the dolly. Instead of clarifying or offering help, she instructed the employee to “monitor” us to make sure the dolly was returned, making it clear that we were not to be assisted in any way.
The whole interaction felt unnecessarily hostile and discriminatory. We were made to feel like we had done something wrong simply for trying to use the dolly to move our own items. The situation was so uncomfortable that we ended up carrying everything out by hand rather than continue to deal with her.

We had a disappointing experience at HomeSense and wanted to share our concerns. After making our purchases, we went to the pickup area to collect three chairs. There were some blankets lying around—specifically the kind used for wrapping furniture for transport—and we assumed we could use one to cover our furniture on the way to the truck.
Unfortunately, a staff member named Sylvia approached us and very abruptly told us, “No, you can’t take that,” and made it clear we weren’t allowed to use any of the blankets or equipment in that area. Her tone was quite rude and dismissive, and it felt like the situation could have been handled much more politely. We left feeling really uncomfortable and unsatisfied with the service, especially after being paying customers. We hope the management addresses this so that future customers have a better experience.

I loved this Ralph Lauren runner, got it for a great price, brought it home and when I vacuumed the rug it started to unravel. A day later I brought it to the store and explained what happened to the manager and he refused to return it because it was damaged.
