There is a nice variety of stores here. You can grab a coffee at Starbucks, go grocery shopping, play a game at Galaxy Golf, shop for clothing at many different stores, get home decor at Tuesday Morning or Stein Mart or pick up a sub or pizza. There are too many stores to list on here. The parking lot is always clean and they have a lot of parking spaces. There is a open, grassy area in front of Starbucks where kids from the local middle school play football when the weather is nice. My son and his friends walk there from school, grab a bite to eat and a mocha frappuccino from Starbucks, then play a game of football or tag The shopping center feels safe when you go there. I don't feel like I have to keep a firm grip on my purse and constantly look around for someone who looks like they are up to no good. There are not any people hanging out or begging for money. I enjoy myself every time I go there. I highly recommend this...

Which is strange, because when we lived in another state they did match competitors' pricing for identical items. I also watched two associates trying to put out smart bulbs because 2 customers asked where they were. They seemed confused and sadly knew next to nothing about the product they were attempting to find shelf space for. Fortunately there is another national chain that does follow this customer centric policy and does find a way to get new products...

There used to be a lot more small shops, but they all seem to slowly be fleeing, so the east side of The Promenade has a semi-abandoned feel. Macaroni Grill is gone... no great loss... but the empty shell of the building is kind of depressing. I think the new Waverly shopping center just on the other side of 485 is gonna kill the Promenade which is really too bad. The Promenade is walkable from nearby neighborhoods and the summer concerts are a good time... And there is still a good Starbucks here! A good bar would be a terrific addition... Maybe with an outdoor patio. There is a lot of potential...
