Urbane South — Local services in Weddington

It’s so unfortunate that in these times, you can no longer shop in person and have a nice experience. Came to the store for the first time on Saturday evening, maybe about an hour before closing, and there was two young girls working at the register. When I came in with my husband and two young daughters it seemed they were bothered that we were there, not one greet ….nothing. I proceeded to walk around as they actually had nice things and I was looking for gifts for my family and I love to support local, unfortunately, after being there for what it seems to be like 15 minutes, and these girls were completely ignoring us, I even caught one of them do an eye roll to the other girl when I touched a barefoot dreams cardigan and said, oh, this is cute , mind you we were the only ones in the store. For reference to the store manager, she was wearing a skirt and a T-shirt and a long sleeve shirt underneath that simulated tattoos. I decided to take my money somewhere else. In my opinion, the best concept boutique in south Charlotte to find gifts for other people, and one of my FAVORITE places to shop in general! My husband and I have been loyal customers (and fans) of this place since it opened. Staff is always so welcoming and kind (we also love the owners 😉). I can’t tell you how many unique pieces of clothing / accessories we have found here over the last several years that we constantly get compliments on.
