This was a very tough review for me to do.
I’m gonna start off with the positive
I also want to know that this is not just attempt to be as overly as positive as possible, without being real and sharing my experience so anyone reading this can make it inform decision based on my opinion and experience.
That is really important to me as I do my reviews. I want to hear from real people real experiences.
The food was unbelievably amazing
We ordered to go as we went there really late and I think it was like after midnight.
We ordered I believe pork chops is what they called it and they came out looking like the most amazing gourmet pieces of pork chops I’ve ever seen in my life.
I wish I would’ve took a picture when I got back to the hotel but after I ate, I crashed out but they were amazing. The best and nicest most impressive ones I’ve ever seen.
The meat also melted in my mouth. It was so good.
We had several drinks at the bar while we waited on the food and they were amazing.
The bartender was extremely personable, and we went with his number one recommendation, and they were martinis.
Never had a martini before, but I will have another one in the future.
When we call down to this location to see if they were still open, we were amazed that the kitchen was still open.
I remember other choices, being Taco Bell or Wendy’s, 😂
The woman who answered the phone was actually waiting on us as we told her we were coming in, and I was completely astonished
This place could not have done anything else better other than one major, and I mean extremely major thing !
And that one major thing was the woman that was in charge was so rude, disrespectful to her staff, mad at the world and took my experience and my partners experience from what I would say was a 20 out of 10!
And I’m not exaggerating !
As this woman who is waiting on us who answered the phone when we called to see if they were still open, walked up to her employee and interrupted our conversation with a frown on her face and told her she needed to go clean the bathrooms because somebody use the bathroom on the floor.
My jaw dropped
Instead of very politely intervening in the conversation, that was very lovely and pulling her to the side to share this information with her, they decided to bring it online right in front of the patron.
And that patron was my partner.
And this wasn’t the only thing.
When she came back from cleaning the bathrooms with a smile on her face, I asked her if that was something that she went through often working there and expressed disappointment
I immediately had a visual as I was waiting on my food if you follow what I’m saying.
A few minutes went by and this woman who I did not catch your name, but I remember her having brunette hair and less than 5’6” came back and interrupted our conversation again and asked her if she was going to talk all night or if she needed to find something for her to do.
Wow!
At this point in time, I was very perturbed.
As politely as I could, I asked her why she thought it was OK to come up not once but twice and be the only negative part of my experience thus far.
Her response “ you can leave as soon as your food comes out”
I have not went back to this place since that experience and I would love to to have another one of those martinis and order the pork chops again.
I’ve thought for almost a month on how I wanted to write this review because I have never experienced anything close to this.
I cannot in good faith or integrity do business with a place like this that has such an individual working there let alone being in a management position.
The reason that I decided to do this review was to let any owners or management above and beyond this lady have an opportunity to address this situation.
Even if this manager who is unbelievably rude and extremely unprofessional was just having a bad day, it is simply not an excuse.
Not in the restaurant business !

Read moreI wanted to reach out about my experience at your resturant in charlotte-waverly nc tonight. When I walked in your hostess what at her stand on her phone. She looked up as i walked in didn't bother to greet or really even acknowledge that I was there. I walked over to the bar area and sat down. Two other groups walked in and had the exact same experience I did. All three parties sat at the bar for almost 15 mins before we even saw the bartender that was no where to be found. When he walked back up his exact words to us were " this always happens when i step away for 2 mins" mind you all of us had been sitting there for almost 20mins at this point with no contact from anyone at your establishment. We also were sitting with two of your servers at the bar that didn't even bother to get a manager or notify the bartender he had people that walked in. Once the bartender got to me 30to 35 mins had gone by and i still hadn't even order a drink yet. When he finally came over i gave my drink and food order at the same time. The food came out pretty quick but then your bartender disappears again. I order spicy wings and salted pretzels and now I cant find him to refill my drink. At this point I only ate 1 of the 5 wings and 2 of the pretzels. I was fed up and just ready to get out of there as fast as I could. 10 min later your bartender comes back up proceeds to not check in with anyone sitting at the bar and proceeds to play paddy cake with one of your other servers at the expo area. This point my experience at your restaurant is laughable. Im paying with a corporate credit card that I get reimbursed for so I could careless about the meal I barley touched or the cost of this bill he would eventually brang me. Honestly I gave a 2$ tip out of pitty but he didnt deserve that. Im writing this dissertation not because im upset with the food( i just left and went accross the street and had great mexcan food at chuys) but because obviously Kail G your bartender dosent need the money and you are paying him and your hostess to do basically whatever they want. I understand its just food and its low expectations for the people that work thier. But damn I would be pretty embarrassed if this was my representation. Read moreDisappointing when you have to come leave a review on place you first liked, however, last night's visit warrants it. Cons: *It was so cold inside, the hostess and our server were wearing jackets. Wish I had brought one as I was shivering. *Previously, we could hear each other and have a conversation. The music was so loud on this visit, I had to ask the server to repeat herself and nearly yell to give order or converse with family. *Slow service. It took our server so long to take our drink order and then bring us waters and a soda, that another server stopped to ask if someone was helping us. Then, when our food came, the order was incomplete. We had to wait for the ranch dressing and ketchup and my daughter had finished her burger by the time they finally brought the serving of seasonal vegetables. *note, they ended up not charging us for her meal which was a bright spot. *The vegetables were tainted by using peppers that weren't fresh, so daughter wouldn't even eat. *Husband ordered a Coke product, Pepsi product was substituted without informing him that's what they offer so he could choose. Sorry, they aren't interchangeable. *Portion of fries served with burger were skimpy. *There was trash on the floor in each of the women's bathroom's four stalls and around the trash can. The dispensers were out of soap, though there was a bottle of hand soap on the counter. *There were three to four hostesses in the waiting area when we left. Not one made eye contact or spoke to us when we left.
Pros: *The wings and burgers were good. *They comped the drink that wasn't what he ordered and the meal that arrived without side item.
Thoughts: Management is not on top of training. There were a good number of servers, extra hostesses and yet service and cleanliness of bathrooms were poor. Did not see the manager interacting with any guests. He didn't speak when he returned a high chair to the narrow storage space directly behind our table despite being less than a foot from me as he did so.
