Walgreens — Local services in Union City

Unfortunately I live near this ugly big box store with a filthy parking lot. Before you even enter the store, it's dismal. Their attempt at landscaping is one large bush and a dead tree. They don't even pretend that they care what they look like. It's awful. Dog poop on the dead-grass lawn, people parking in the middle of the lot where they're not supposed to park, garbage cans that are almost always overflowing, garbage stuck between the fence and the building next door. They never water or care for the grounds, so it looks like this big wound. Inside, there is rarely anyone to wait on you. I had to walk around for 20 minutes before I asked the pharmacist where I could find someone to help me. Somehow they got a young woman to come out on the floor, who was still chewing her lunch. One person for 15 aisles of product. I've waited 45 minutes at the pharmacy. Sometimes, during the day, there's less of a wait. Go across the street to Park Avenue Pharmacy. True they don't have the inventory that Walgreen's does, but it's pretty, clean and there are always 4 people to wait on you. They help you solve every...

Had a terrible experience on Monday(Nov. 9;4:30pm). Went to take some pictures and I was told from a worker that if I have a USB flash, he would be able to put it in for me, but I didn't, so I head back and got the USB and when I came back to take the picture, first of all he didn't even take a professional picture, it was blurry and he had a very bad attitude like I was bothering him doing his job. Second, he forgot to ask for my USB, that he told me to go back and take it 10 minutes ago, and he charged me extra money for a brand new USB that I never wanted. And why have me go back and forth for no reason. Plus he wouldn't even explain the charges until after I asked him 3 times, and then he started talking to me while walking away. The person that I am talking about turns out to be THE MANAGER of the place, which from whom you should expect a little more explanation and WAYYY less attitude. As if pharmacy attendees weren't enough to fall in love with this store, associate(s) just turned it up to afterburner! 1st- was greeted with genuine welcoming greeting, then I wasnt sure of sale pricing on fem.prod., Brunilda listened and i said "i came for milk be right back"...without asking, she instantly knew how to help and looked for prod. I needed for pricing i wanted, i met her in that isle and she politly asked "if this was what i wanted", it was perfect. Her actions, with such understanding and kindness made a real impression, I felt at ease to ask her, instead of young man at other register, he is my sons ages. ❤️ Then, Brunilda went the extra mile at checkout to help me again, by adding my current info to find my points, and wow, my savings!!!
