They will take days to fill a prescription while they have 7-8 people working at the pharmacy. Margie to be specific is racist and rude, I was at the drive-through window there forgot to hang up after asking my name and then Margie proceeded to make fun of my name. My name is ethnic.. The next day I went to pick up my prescription in there there was a Hispanic gentleman who spoke little to no English and Margie kept raising her voice at him asking him, “Do you even understand what this means”. I brought this up when I was at the pharmacy and asked them what is the delay in getting this ready? She said sorry we are under staffed. you have EIGHT people working. EIGHT. you can’t be understaffed. If your staff weren’t racist, and took their time to do their job instead of being rude and making fun of clients then maybe our scripts would be filled within timely manner. Anyways, Day three I had another prescription sent over here that I absolutely needed it because it was for an infection so the earlier I take it the better. Again, The prescription was stuck in the Order status that said “processing”. I finally called a local retailer store nearby and ask them to transfer it over even he said that we have had many people transferred over because Walgreens people are rude and they take so much time. They are not understaffed they just lack work ethics.
Margie to be specific, you wouldn’t be getting a check if it wasn’t for us sending scripts over. You have food on the table cause of Walgreens customer. You are setting a bad example. Also, be nice to the new employee you were training on Thursday, December 5th at 5pm. Your attitude is rebellious.
Regards, A FORMER Walgreens...
Read moreNot sure why Karen (pharmacy technician's actual name) is @ the pharmacy because she is obviously not enjoying helping people. I thought it might just be me but while I was browsing in the isle I heard her interact with other people too the same way (did not put in any effort in finding this poor man's prescription & after she did instead of apologizing, she kept trying to blame other parties of her incompetence). Initially I just thought she was having a bad day, but every time I interact with her she is not very nice: she gets frustrated when she spells the name wrong & just says that "you are not in the system". When my insurance changed I asked if my insurance was on file & she said yes without looking at the card that I was showing, ending up paying more fore my script (next refill a different tech confirmed that the card was not updated). I work at a medical facility & we send prescriptions there to be filled & it always takes a couple of faxes &/or phone calls to fill a script. She is always acting like she is doing me a favour or like "I'm pulling her teeth". I'm not one to jump & bash people or a local business, maybe I ever wrote 5 reviews on Google but Karen needs to go retire or find something that makes her happy that doesn't involve customer service. As you can see from another review I attached on Karen, we are not alone. Sad that sick people are treated like this by a lady like figure that should probably work at the MeatMarket...
Read moreThe Walgreens store itself is generally well-stocked, staffed and clean. When help is needed in the photo department they are pretty quick to send someone over. The employees in the store have positive demeanor
I mostly have had issues with the pharmacy. The main concern being that I was accidently given my sister-in-laws prescription, even after verifying my DOB and address. I understand that this is a repetitive question for the pharmacy assistants but I could have taken someone elses drug that was potentially harmful. I noticed when I got home, the pharmacy was unapologetic when I returned it. The attitudes aren't very friendly and at times are out of my seizure medication and can only...
