This is how I liked my stay These were the things I liked about it First off, the bed was very comfortable. And the hot tub was a very good temperature and so was the pool. Also, the TV does let you hook up a Roku, which is nice. You did have a pretty nice view out of your bedroom. The breakfast was pretty good. I liked the muffin and waffles and we also liked the sausage. The ice was very good. And they also included a dove conditioner, shampoo, soapbar, and body lotion. And the room looked very nice. And these are the things that I didn't really like. So the first thing is when we came into our hotel room we found a piece of dried breakfast muffin on the floor. And when we went into the refrigerator that was in the closet, we found a box of corndogs. And the bathroom was pretty small. And we found a little bit of mold by the hot tub. And the service phone did not work in the hotel room. And inside of the pool area, there was a water fountain that didn't work. And inside of the pool room also there was a sauna, and the door handle to the sauna was broken. And we did not like the eggs at breakfast at all.(the eggs were not egg colored at all and they did not smell or taste like eggs and they were very watery) And the electric outlet behind the TV did not have a cover. First night, small trash on floor dirty tub that I cleaned myself no biggy. On my second morning here, I called the front desk and asked for service, vacuum, do our bed, bring towels. They brought towels, and thats it. They apparently have issues with cleaning service. I've been coming here for over 10 years. Update* Spoke to the hotel manager, he apologized for the service and has 2 kind gentlemen in my room cleaning within 5 minutes. Thank you Danny your actions changed my review and thoughts of this new company.. may I add this all happened after hours the manager went out of his way to satisfy my stay. Amazing staff Another update: I used the whirlpool in my room this morning, the drain jammed and wouldn't drain. I called the front desk this time they came up very quickly and literally removed the drain cover so I can not use my whirlpool any longer. Shame that I paid extra to have a whirlpool that I only used once because its now broken... this hotel is a POS do NOT stay here. Amazing staff it seems like a cheap owner/corporation runs this place and isnt giving the staff the tools they need to satisfy guests. Shame on AmericInn what a cheap company. Rooms were ok. Lots of walking to get to them. Night we checked in power went out from a storm (not there fault) but came back on a couple hrs later . Bathroom in the room was way too small. Big minus. TV was difficult to figure out which I've never had happen before. Ice machine only on the 1st floor and we tried it twice but it never had more than a small handful of ice available. Pool, gym, sauna and hot tub on the 4th floor. Pool room was like a sauna which was a turn off to using it. Gym room was very tiny and not well ventilated. Had a weird odor. Tried it the first day but never went back. Continental breakfast was not great. Not much fruit option (only oranges the morning we tried it). Eggs were bland and not much over warm. Sausage was ok. Juice was too sweet like they didn't mix with enough water. Coffee was not fresh tasting from the machine. The bread and muffins selection was ok. Otherwise there was 2 kinds of cereal and some oatmeal. The star of breakfast was their waffle maker. It wasn't the worst we could have gotten but definitely not worth the money paid nightly.
