I rode with my friend to pick up her order of combination fried rice and 3egg rolls. That, in opinion, was over priced. When we got back to her place the rice had absolutely no shrimp in it what so ever. She made it a point to search through the whole dish, as her son does not like shimp, And she was sharing it with him. She called back to let them know about the discrepancy, and received nothing but a rude response. She was initially put on hold, and when the woman returned to the call, she stated to my friend. That she had just spoke with the cook, and he said that he put the shrimp In The rice. My friend naturally became upset due the the woman insinuating that she was lying about the missing shrimp in the dish that, we all clearly saw was not there. My friend responded by explaining that she was not looking for compensation, and certainly did not appreciate being called a liar. The woman responded by telling my friend to calm down, and that she was not calling her a liar but stood behind what the cook was telling her. My friend once again stated that there was no shrimpin the dish, and by her continued instance that she believed the clock she was basically in fact calling my friend a liar. The woman grudgingly stated that she did not know what to tell her only that she would remake it if she wanted to drive all the way back there to get it. At this point it was late because my friend was so offended that she will not be eating there agian. A simple apology for the mistake made for the over priced paid for meal. Would have been nice. Instead of being called a liar. I do not recommend this establishment! Go to Peking.... It is far better and the staff there treats there guest with respect, and don't argue over missing shrimp. P.s. the woman said that the dish should have had only 3 shrimp to begin with (WOW) absolutely do not recomend...
Read moreFirst time ever trying out this place with my mom, I ordered two general tso’s chicken entrees, one egg roll to try it out, an order of crab rangoons, one bowl of hot and sour soup for my mom. We received the appetizers before our entrée which is normal. The egg roll was literally bite size and cost 2.80, the crab rangoons were ok, honestly most other Chinese buffets offer better, the sweet and sour dipping sauce tasted like fish sauce. The white rice that came with the entree also tasted fishy, it was just weird. The general tso’s chicken sauce also had a fishy flavor. I bought my mom a Pepsi 12 oz can and nothing for myself. The soda can cost about 2.45 and fountain soda cost 3.15; the woman that took our order only brought us one entree instead of two, we just went with it and didn’t bother asking about the other one. There were two women working out front, one just sat and didn’t look away from her phone the whole time we were there. I paid my bill and walked out the door suddenly the woman that brought us our food asked if the service or food was bad, I taught to mention the weird fishy flavor on everything except the egg roll but didn’t, the woman continued on about wanting a tip because she works for tips, I responded stating that we sat down and ate our food and paid, we didn’t ask for anything to have over worked this woman, I told her that I didn’t have time for this. The woman started swearing at me and stated that I was a cheapskate, I just said yeah okay and walked away. I suppose we’re both on the agreement that we won’t be doing...
Read moreThis is beyond terrible. I am a Chinese, and I ordered shrimp dish that came with egg drop soup which was pretty much cornstarch water with food coloring, msg, and splash of egg- never had such cornstarch porridge. The shrimp dish is beyond disgusting. I also ordered house fried rice-never had such shameful fried rice. How can you mess up even fried rice but this place did. It was a take out , and I ask them if they had chopsticks and they said that it’s being ordered. The plastic utensils were so cheap and flimsy that it was hard to pick up the food. I know this place does their business in a mostly non Asian area, so maybe people don’t know it, but I want to tell you the food here is beyond being bad. They have no business call themselves a restaurant- shame.
This is edited review-I had a takeout around 8:30 last night. It is now 4:00 am, I am awake with my stomach not feeling right-feels like the Chinese food that I attempted to eat still sits in my stomach…. What a terrible place with such a deceptive people and food, how do you act so normal and accept money while you are offering such a...
