Cannot emphasize the amazing impact of processor Carlones and Professor Rick instructions. Learned so much in a short time. I went to GB Chicago west loop as a new white belt. Trained here for only 6 months as I had to move out of the city. Been to couple of other top schools after that. But I would say what i learned here, especially the details in the most basic techniques, are the ones I still use effectively even after 2 years of jiu jitsu(not long I know). All schools basically teach the same techniques. But what makes the difference is the way its taught. And I am grateful to both professors for being so amazing at what they do best and for teaching us in a way that is engraved into the brain. Even if I am injured and return after a couple of months, the techniques kick in subconsciously. That's how deep their teachings are nailed into the brain.
