Sales associates are really nice, however i had the worst costumer service experience and its extremely dissapointing considering the amount of money i spend there to purchase a tenis bracelet. Just yesterday Tuesday 13, 2018 at 3:30 pm , i had the appointment to drop of my bracelet to get resized. The women that works in the back is extrimely rude and unpleasent to be around. She took my bracelet with an attitude and told me to come back in 1 hour to pick it up. So then i received a call saying my bracelet was ready to be picked up and i went there. I knew something was wrong IMMEDIATELY when the 2 men and she was looking around the tables as if they lost something. Im standing there like a moron waiting to be even told something and thats when i realized. THEY LOST my TENNIS bracelet. No curtesy to let me know whats going on nothing at all. As im standing there patiently waiting, the bracelet finaly turns up. Then i asked one of the guys to check if thats even the bracelet that i dropped of . He confirmed that it was. THEN i asked for the diamonds that they removed. THAT WAS ALSO LOST. !!!! I mean if this is not ridiculous i dont know what is. As im patiently waiting yet again. THE RUDE women in brown hair. Thats always there. Gives me an attitude and tells me to come back the NEXT day when they FIND it. BECKERS are you kidding me? Is this the kind of costumer service you provide? I told her NO and i was going to patiently wait for them to find it. And i wasnt leaving without them. I only left my bracelet for 1 hour and they managed to lose it. Seriously!!!!!!!’ Then THE RUDE women gives me an attitude once again, WALKS off and goes to the counter and starts to talk to another associate as if she has nothing to do. WHAT a joke. SHE should be FIRED. If that was my store she would be out the door. Thankfully, there was the young man in the back that found them and double checked everything. He was the only one who actually made an effort. Its extrimely rude to be treated this way by BACKERS associates . Considering my husband spend over 5,000 dollars on the bracelet. The resizing was not done to my liking. I wanted to remove more diamonds but considering what just occured i didnt want my bracelet to be lost again. So ridiculous. This review doesnt even deserve a 1 star!!!!! Overall, i have NOT received an appology, i was being talk down by the rude women and i walked off unhappy. Read moreI recently bought an engagement here and they made the process very easy. I was in and out in 10 minutes and I was very satisfied with the stone and the setting. My issue is that once I paid for the ring the service I got afterwards was just horrendous. I was planning to propose,to my then girlfriend, very soon and I wanted the ring ready asap. I came in on a Friday and was quoted that it would be ready Tuesday. I had no issue with that, I was told by the jeweler that helped me, Tom, that he would call me once the ring was ready. So Tuesday came and I give it about 1pm and still no call. I call myself and found out by myself that the ring was in fact ready. Fast forward to I got the ring and I proposed and she said yes but my now fiance thinks that the ring does not fit. Now before I bought the ring, I asked Tom about resizing. He made it seem like it was an easy process with no issues. So I called and scheduled an appointment to get my ring reacheduled. I called on a Wednesday for an appointment that coming Friday. I spoke with their goldsmith and he was able to fit me in such short notice, he even said “if someone calls out or something we will let you know”. Come friday I went in with my fiance and I was greeted with confusion, the goldsmith had to take unexpected time off so we were not able to get the ring resized, I have no issue with the sudden absence, I understand life happens, what I have an issue with is that again I was not notified that the goldsmith was not available. It also felt like pulling teeth to get my appraisal and insurance info sent to me even though at the time of purchase Tom told me that I would receive this in an email. So yeah their stones are quality but again I feel like once I paid for the stone and closed out the sale. They just did not care about me...
Read moreI went to Becker's to get one of my decorative diamond side stones replaced. Along with that I was inquiring about new trillions for my ring's side stones. I have a princess cut center stone and my side stones are trillion cut. (Triangular shaped diamonds) I love my ring, it's what I always wanted. However, I noticed my trillions had become dull and grey looking, no shine, no sparkle...No life to them what so ever. No matter how I often cleaned them, they were still... Well...grey, dull and lifeless. I spoke to Brian about purchasing new diamond trillions. So Brian, did his homework and when I went back to Becker's to pick up my ring, Brian handed me the Princess and I was floored... My ring looked brand spanken new again my TRILLIONS ARE BEAUTIFUL AGAIN!!! I asked Brian, what did you do, my ring looks BEAUTIFUL!! "Save yourself the money Denise, you don't need new trillions." "Your diamonds are nice, you had some type of film over the diamonds." Wow!! Couldn't believe how clean and beautiful Becker's has this ring glittering... unbelievable. So with all of this being said... Brian, I thank you for being so honest with me and saving me a small fortune. Becker's staff is also amazing with their knowledge of the jewelry they sell. I took my friend there to look at rings. Margie knows her stuff and she's so articulate and informative when she's talking to you about your future purchase or just inquiring. I also feel Becker's has the best prices, very friendly staff, they always greet you as you walk in and say by to you as your leaving, no matter what they're doing, they stop and say hello...All the time. FYI, I was told by a friendly staff member, Becker's customers could park in the Webster Bank parking lot at no charge. Happy shopping...
