We bought a really nice, large sofa from poliform a few years ago. It took forever to arrive. After we had the couch for less than two months, it looked so old and sloppy. It looked like a sofa that needed to be replaced. A $17,000-20,000 shabby chic appearing sofa that was supposed to look clean and modern. It took me tracking down one of the vp’s of the company and stocking him practically to get them to finally replace the sofa. I almost flew from California to Chicago to knock on his door I was so upset and the Beverly Hills location was so unhelpful. When they finally approved remaking the sofa, it took another 6 months to get it, since Italy was starting their vacation month and then they had to make the sofa and then wait for a container to be full. The new sofa is nice, the fabric is very rough, but it is holding up fairly well. But, as I said, for an upgraded fabric from a high end store the fabric should also feel good. Horrible experience! IKEA has better quality! Please continue reading. The poliform team is a joke. From their sales team, to their field representative. It’s like a crooked mechanic, where they ask you for all the money up front and then you don’t receive what you paid for. Go ahead and use them if you don’t believe me. They are a failure in custom homes. My word is their down fall. As a high end homes builder they will never step into my sites again. They will never take responsibility for their lack of preparation, quality and performance. Doesn’t matter how many times you check on their shop drawings. They will be off! Don’t allow these people make a fool of you. Don’t spend the hundreds of thousands on this product. It is expensive and clearly not worth the price. It’s all particle board! It’s all a high...

In the thick of the putrid swamp that is Residential construction, Poliform was a ray of light. Yes their lead times are long, yes it is expensive, but the value is there.

From design and specification to delivery and installation, the entire process was highly professional and successful. There were few parts of our project that went as smoothly. Our closet required the line of the closet to match a soffit, which did not necessarily match the room itself, the closet matches perfectly due to both correct specification and correct installation.
