MORE than just a "neighborhood restaurant"! There is a very welcoming relaxing vibe here, but the decor and environment do not fit the cozy nature and casualness of neighborhood establishments. It is casual place, but on an upscale level.
Located across street from Chanel, and very near Cedars Sinai, this open space is wonderful place to just enjoy a cocktail, meal or even just stop for a snack. Excellent for business lunches, lunch or cocktails with friends for just to take a load off and reset.
The patio is L-shaped, you have choice of street view or near the entrance, facing the mall. There are blue and white weaved patio chairs on ratio, cushioned bar stools at the bakery window, along with wicker chairs with very comfortable denim cushions, or cushioned seating on the mall side. The interior is a mix of modern and classic styles: modern suspended lighting, hanging plants in the bakery, and a decor of items such as a set of Corona manual typewriters, leather-bound books, an entire wall of print magazines and gold framed art and black and white photographs.
The service here is excellent. Because I was not familiar with menu, my server was more than happy to make suggestions to help me choose my late afternoon lunch. She was friendly, and accommodating, and made my stay a joy. You may get some of same lunch menu items at the bakery, and the bakery offers pastries, coffee and water.
The smoked Norwegian salmon appetizer was delectable. The creme fraiche added a nice flavor, was not overpowering and served over essentially latkes. It was great companion to the crunchy baguettes and Farmstead Chardonnay.
There is valet parking here, $7.50 for 90 minutes before 5pm and $10 5pm to close, $3 every 15 minutes afterwards. If you do not plan to stay longer than that it is recommended, as street parking in this area is problematic at any time of day.
I really enjoyed the vibe and the food here. I recommend it for family or friendly gatherings, groups, business meetings or for a getaway from it all for the afternoon. I look forward to my next visit to the...

As a neighbor who lives in the area, The Henry in Beverly Hills has become my go-to spot for all occasions. Whether I'm tasting wine alone, visiting with friends, or dining with family, this restaurant/bar offers a cozy and casual ambiance that makes you feel right at home. It’s reminiscent of a friendly Spanish bar / restaurant, perfect for daily visits.
The Henry boasts an incredible location and the best service in town. The staff are always friendly and attentive, ensuring every visit is enjoyable. The atmosphere is both inviting and comfortable, making it ideal for any occasion.
The Henry features a nice wine list and a good beer selection, catering to various tastes. However, a more affordable selection of wines would be a great addition for wine lovers like myself and other frequent visitors. Special mention goes to their Eclectic Reds, which are always a treat.
Favorite Dishes: Spicy Tuna & Crispy Rice: A perfect blend of spice and texture, a must-try.
Umami Brussels Sprouts: These are simply addictive with their rich, savory flavor.
Salmon Crudo: Fresh and delicate, a delightful starter.
Salads: Sprouts & Squash Salad: A refreshing and healthy option with great flavors.
Pasta: Bolognese: The garganelli pasta with truffle mushroom butter, herbed ricotta, and garlic toast is a comforting and delicious dish.
Rigatoni Alla Vodka: Burrata, Calabrian chile, mint, lemon, and bread crumbs make this a standout pasta dish.
Main Course:
Korean Prime Skirt Steak: Cooked to perfection, this dish is flavorful and tender.
The Henry is a beloved spot in Beverly Hills for a reason. With its cozy atmosphere, top-notch service, and diverse menu, it’s a place you can visit every day. While a cheaper selection of wines would be a welcomed addition, the overall experience remains exceptional. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a meal or drink in a friendly...
Read moreThis is of the worst service I’ve had in years to be honest. We were sat outside because we would’ve had to wait for inside, even though there were plenty of tables inside. One sat outside it was actually fine heat wise, but nobody came to us in it took about 10 minutes for server to even come over to acknowledge us. Then they proceeded to give me one of the coffees, which was Really just coffee, even though it was meant to be a mocha. So I sent it back because it really just taste like coffee nothing else. Then I brought the regular mocha which was fine and good. In terms of the food it was actually pretty easy. We got the tortilla soup and the turkey Roast dip. For the turkey roast dip, we recommend that they put less horseradish. It was too overpowered and out of a bit of lettuce and tomato and really beef up the sandwich. Then took about 25 minutes to get the check which is unusable and nobody was pay attention. Literally nobody said sorry nobody brought us water. It was just kind of a mess. We just let that wait. And you proceeded to, wait and wait and wait. Maybe it was off day but it just felt like really bad service and you could just tell everybody around us nobody’s paying anybody and it just felt like why am I even here. also truffle fry upgrade do not do it five extra dollars and the portion is tiny and so not worth it. You might as well just buy your own truffle fry separately but they aren’t very truffles. Last note was that there was a four people that sat next to us, and they took the heater on blast like a separate heater, even though it was cold, and I totally totally fine that they didn’t even bother to ask so I literally had to physically move my chair over and they did not even ask how are you too warm or anything which is like like come on guys like we’re I was literally burning and have my face so it was just not not the type of service you expect...
