I made a purchase at Bo Concept La Brea and realized it wasn't the right choice for my situation. It was a hasty, poorly thought out purchase. Totally my fault. And I was traveling before I realized that, so the return policy grace period had expired. Again, totally my fault. I had read some bad reviews on Bo Concept customer service online, but it turns out that those are OLD reviews from PREVIOUS owners, so keep an eye out for recency if you are review checking. I was thinking I would have a problem and have to swallow my purchase - not an inexpensive mistake. But I was wrong. Stephanie (who I believe is the manager), at Bo Concept La Brea was amazingly helpful and customer focused. Charles at Bo Concept La Brea is THE BEST. He is a designer and he took a really long time going through a whole bunch of options with me as I tried to find a piece that really would be perfect for my needs. And we found it. My experience with Bo Concept La Brea - which began on Memorial Day 2014 - with a very lovely sales person named Emily (not her fault I didn't really think things through) has wound up being one of my favorite furniture shopping experience ever. BoConcept has a lot of nice pieces. What I particularly like about them is the fact their pieces are intelligently designed along with aesthetically pleasing. All their pieces are very customizable, which is what they are known for. Their coffee tables have lift tops and hidden storage or expand to the size of dinner tables. Their dinner tables expand/retract so that you can scale up or down depending on the occasion. We worked with April there who was incredibly helpful in showing us the functionality of their pieces along with their numerous fabric and finish options.

Now to be fair, price-wise this place isn't for everyone, but the quality feels worth it. Since every piece is pretty much a custom piece lead times are pretty long. We purchased a dining set and were originally quoted 2-3 months, which ended up doubling since we bought during a sale. So if you are looking for something quick you should temper your expectations. All in all though we are very happy with our set and will be back again for more pieces...

For the past few years my wife and I had purchased BoConcept furniture for our home. The furniture obviously looks great but what we have really come to appreciate is the customizability, clever storage spaces, and overall sturdiness. Its also a great feeling every-time we visit to find that what we bought a few years ago can still be matched with what they are selling today. Their styles are consistent and timeless.

These benefits are well worth the price and once you really start shopping for permanent furniture you find they are fairly priced with other reputable stores.
